The moment Alex heard that soft voice and the thud of an equipment bag fall to the ground, he was up on his knees and leaning over the back of the couch, giving the man who just entered one of his big, genuine smiles that show off his dimples. "Hola, mi amor..."

This was Alex favorite version of Shane; relaxed, hair messy, and even a little sweaty. It made him look more like a person, and less like the hockey god he was suppose to be. Not that Shane Hollander wasn't a hockey god, but he was also a human being, and his boyfriend...

"I got done a little early and I'm not needed in Michigan until the day after tomorrow so... you have me for almost a full day..." His smile widened as he sat up on his knees so he was at the same height as Shane. The smile turned soft as he leaned in closer, just barely touching his lips.

"Hi, baby..." Alex kissed him, letting his lips linger before just barely pulling away. "Have a good practice?"

Alex froze and just stared at his sister. Was he really that obvious? Was he really walking around with heart eyes for Henry like June said? He really thought they were being subtle, playing up the bromance they were suppose to create after everything that happened during the wedding. Of course June knew him better than anyone...

Except maybe Henry now...

Oh he was so fucked.

"You can't tell anyone... not that I think you will but... the whole thing is so fucked up for Henry... he can't tell anyone. The only people who know are his sister, Percy, me, and I guess you now... but like no one can know! And we haven't seen each other in a month it's the perfect cover... I just... Bug... I miss him..."

The words just vomited out of him, laying out his entire heart and soul for his sister to see. He knew he could trust her, but his heart was beating a mild a minute because this was so big... probably the biggest secret he's asked her to keep.

"I'm sorry..." He didn't know what he was apologizing for. Whether it was for not telling her about Henry, about not telling her about himself, or maybe it was just for being him in general. That if he wasn't neurotic, and spazzy that he wouldn't be in this mess...

Or was Alex apologizing for his feelings and for falling in love with a prince...

"I'm so fucking sorry..." He hated that he could feel the tears welling up, that he was 22 years old and he was on the verge of sobbing in front of his sister while coming out to her like some cliché Telenovela.

Henry  sulked  in  Alex's  room  in  the  lake  house.  He  was  stupid  to  think  he  could  simply  sleep  with  him  and  not  catch  any  feelings.  It  was  bound  to  happen.  Stupid  idiot.  Hugging  the  pillow,  he  refused  to  move  when  he  heard  footsteps  near  the  door.  Did  he  want  to  let  Alex  go?  His  heart  hurt  thinking  about  it.  What  if  his  family  found  out?  Then  he  would  be  forced  to  end  it. Flinching  when  he  felt  Alex's  hand  on  his  leg,  he  kept  refusing  to  look  at  him.  "I  don't  know  what  to  do."

Alex noticed that Henry was really quiet at dinner. He tried a few times to bring him into conversation, but all he got was one of two word answers, and a small smile that seemed so fake that it almost hurt to look at him.
