you know what, the villainizing of characters in this fandom is absolutely ridiculous. Don’t get me wrong, calling out characters with bad behavior is a must but people aren’t black and white, just because they’ve done bad things doesn’t mean they’re completely horrible. Like for example people are twisting every single one of Adrien’s actions into him being selfish & an asshole because he kept on harassing & pushing ladybug or people twisting Chloe’s goods deeds to also her being selfish. Like no? you all know people can be bad and good at the same time right? Gabriel is a goddamn scum and a complete asshole but his care for his wife & Nathalie are genuine, it lives inside of him alongside with all those bad & horrible ideals. Adrien is the same, he can be pushy and selfish but he’s still kind. Chloe is also selfish, but she still feels lonely & does show genuine kindness from time to time. Even Marinette, she’s a good person but she can also be too obsessed towards adrien to the point where she harms other people. Good & Bad qualities and behavior lives inside each character, it isn’t good to twist a certain behavior to something that it’s not for the sake of villainzing/justifying a character. Just take it as it is, it’s not that hard. Characters are supposed to be gray.
