Greetings and Salutations Fellow Danganronpa/Extra Life Fans!

We are working a new Danganronpa fan project: adapted from the original hit fanfiction written by The Apocryphal One, we humbly announce that we are developing “Extra Life: An Animated Danganronpa Fan Film!” And we need YOU!

We are in great need of artists who want to see us bring this project to life. Any and all art styles are both welcomed and encouraged as this project is a love letter to the franchise, the characters, and of course, to the fanfiction that started all of this!

Not an artist but still want to help? No problem at all! We are also in need of administrative assistance/delegation to keep track of things as we anticipate this project to be a great and mighty labor of love.

imagine there’s a fire in the middle of the hope cultivation program. the scientists are forced to evacuate their prized possession. fire blocks the way as they wheel the stretcher, so they have to pick him up and carry him down the fire escape. out to where there’s students onlooking the spectacle. when they carry out this body, eyes open but hardly conscious, pupils dilated, unblinking and unseeing, the crook of his arm bleeding lightly from where they had removed the cannula, some students recognise him. maybe a few classmates. maybe chiaki. maybe yukizome. maybe there is outrage over this poor boy. but hajime hinata is now no more than an empty vessel. the committee justifies it that it would be a waste of his sacrifice to leave it like that.

Oooh, so the project still happens, except a bunch of people at the school now know it's happening.

That's fascinating!

This feels like it would go a similar direction to one of my Makoto Kamukura AUs, except instead of Hajime and some of Makoto's friends saving Makoto from the labs, it's Chiaki and some of the reserve course saving Hajime/Izuru from the labs. And maybe Fuyuhiko gets to be involved, too, because Hajime was Natsumi's friend. Because Makoto isn't the only one I multiship, lol!
