And then the plot thickens even deeper, right, because it turns out the snakes represent their methods. They’re both cunning, good at improvising, not apposed to lying and performing when need be. They get each other! They click with each other, really well and really easily, because of that synergy in how they work with each other! SC isn’t saying that being ‘snakelike’ is bad or evil in and of itself. She’s cautioning you to think about what you’re using those methods for.

Dear Professor, What do you think of my diagrams?

My my! What excellent diagrams and incredibly well labeled! These are fairly accurate to the Standard "1998" breed! While shedding can be a sign of stress, some individuals do so when a specific trait they are memorphosing to is a large deviation to their current form. Sometimes this is because they simply do not want skin anymore as pointed out! Though this can leave individuals vulnerable as their more delicate inner-parts are fully exposed to the elements. Not many organisms can handle that kind of workload!

A less common, and sadder reason is Fur Rot. A disease, often partially attributed to repeat stress and living in poor condition. Furbies with Fur Rot are often lethargic, have patchy fur, and once they have shed the afflicted skin, it doesn't typically grow it back.

Regardless, if your Furby is suddenly shedding skin; one should always try to see what the underlying cause might be.

And yes, we still aren't 100% what their third "eye" does beyond sensing light. Some hypothesize that it's another method of communication used solely by Furbies.

I really enjoyed this chapter! Peeta and Cinna are two very fun characters to draw for me, and this chapter has plenty of both. I never want to draw fire again, though. Thank you to everyone who reads and enjoys these chapters I do!

Also...I changed the typography treatment again. Sorry. It's because I discovered Procreate's text feature and it made my life a lot easier.
