Honestly, even just the way Amy's naming and renaming herself is a way of playing with people's perception, and Claudia (as another powerful woman in a boy's club, though with the mixed privileged bag of coming into the company/partnership as her father's daughter) is the only one to spot it and highlight this (so far?)

Adam asks to use her proper name instead of the "cutesy nickname" but he's thinking "Amy". Claudia is the one to remind him/us that her proper name is Amelia. But can you imagine Amy asking people to call her Amelia? That sounds like a woman who wants to be taken seriously, doesn't it? That's an open demand of status and respect. Better to allow people to underestimate you. Amy's fine. Or even, encourage them to think that you have fallen into the trap of wanting glamour for the sake of attention and fame. The Silver Witch.
