Glow up tips/ideas
Here’s my little guide how to glow up in your life:
First, get your life together:
Organise and clean your home -Having clean home will make you feel better and lighter and therefore you will be more positive.
Have a life admin day -Write down all the stuff that needs to be done, all the appointments you need to get and everything that needs to be fixed. Then schedule in a day every month or every two weeks when you tick off these thing off your list.
Do your damn laundry
Create routines -They can be long and strict or short and very opened
Fight procrastination in all the ways you can
Take your mediaction and have regular health check ups
Now it’s time for mental health:
Make sure you eat and drink water regularly
Get a therapist if you feel like you need/want one
Practise your hobbies or find new ones
Listen to your favourite music
Meditate
Create a happy atmosphere for yourself -Buy plants and flowers, let your favourite music play in the background, let in as much ligh as you can.
Warm beverages
Be as positive as you can
Try to complain less
Don’t talk shit about people, especially not behind their back -You spread negative energy and hurt yourself in the process.
Say nice things to people, compliment them as much as you can -Being nice to poeple will affect your own mood for the better.
Talk about what you love, not what you hate
Get enough fresh air.
Glow up your mind!:
Read more books -Does not matter the genre
Watch movies and series
Learn new language -Even if it’s just a few words
Watch documents
Talk to people smarter than you
Try learning random fact every day
Find a new hobby
Think of ways to make your life better and help your surrounding -Minimalism? Zero waste? Vegetarian? It depends on you.
Find a new friend
Help people
And lastly the physical glow up:
Find out how much sleep you need and stick to it -Usually 8 hours are the norm
Play around with make up -You will fail and it might look wonky from the beginning. And maybe you won’t even like it. I want you to experiment.
Make sure to go make-up-less sometimes if you wear it often
Drink water -It won’t magically clear your skin completely but it will get better.
Wash your face in the morning and in the evening, but no soap if possible
Use as little skin products as you can -Sometimes less is more.
Lip balm
Eat vegetables every day -Every. single. day. It’s the best thing I have ever done for myself.
Eat oatmeal -It did wonders for my hair.
Stretch regularly
Exercise -Find something you have fun doing and do it as often as possible.
Avoid food with too much grease and sugar -You can have it but try to reduce it.
Prepare your outfit the night before -It gives you time to think about what you’ll wear and it’s nice to have it ready in the morning.
Get clothes you feel good and confident in
Get your dream hair colour! -Get crazy if you want
Learn to be comfortable with your body
Don’t shower every day -I know, I know… but listen… It’s actually much healthier for your skin to shower every other day and wash your hair even less. Plus it saves a lot of water.
Get a perfume -Have a scent
Get enough sun -You don’t have to be tan but getting sun on your skin is very healthy and it’s visible in other ways than tan.
Smile and spread joy
If you’re happy, show it -It’s contagious
Remember that beauty comes from within. That is why I put these tips in that order.
I hope I helped and have a great year!

Why can’t you for once just stick to your diet, why can’t you try hard enough huh? You absolutely suck. Do you want to be skinny? Well put down the fucking food and starve

ultimate, holy tips to stay on track (this year)
So we’ve all been there, lost motivation, kept binging, kept giving in to our cravings but this time its for real, no more giving in, no more I’ll start again next week, nope this is over, you’re gonna get and stay on track -> this is how
drink a lot of water (I know, obvious) but for real, get yourself a nice, big bottle of water (at least 1 liter, best 1.5 litre) and refill them twice/three times a day -> this way your stomach will stay full and you’ll give into cravings less since often times when you think you’re hungry, you’re only thirsty (you can also add lemon -> boosts metabolism and is yummy also)
eat fruit and vegetables instead of shitty things ( I know obvious too) but honestly you can eat more this way and you’ll also get used to it very fast, believe me, one day you won’t even want to eat fatty shit anymore, cause lets be honest, it tastes gross! plus, fruit and vegetables are often negative calories which means you burn them just while simply digesting them, since they’re THAT low cal
set yourself certain times when you can/can not eat, this way your body will get used to eating at those times and doesn’t even want to at others, building routines is THE key!
get up early and start working immediately! this way you’ll get way more done in the day and get a better sleep schedule which is better for digestion and overall wellbeing
stay busy during the whole day, work out, do homework, study, volunteer, go to work, draw, play games, watch movies, series, look for low cal recipes and so on, when you stay busy your mind is concentrating on other things and not on how hungry you are or how little/much you’ve eaten that day –> plus, you’ll AGAIN get WAY more done in a day, which makes you feel amazing, fulfilled and motivated (at least in my opinion)
make a plan of the week/day, write down exactly what you want to do that day, every hour of the day, you’ll feel more organized immediately, you can plan when you eat if you like to or not, I prefer not to write it down cause I might forget which means I’ll eat less, but do whatever you want
calorie / fitness / progress journal, write down how much you had, or how much you plan for the next day, this way you won’t even want to write anything other down, cause honestly, who really ever wants to admit they binged?
don’t weigh in daily, trust me this is key, I used to weigh myself daily, get excited for it in the evening only to be disappointed the next day cause it wasn’t low enough… try to weigh yourself weekly, or twice a week at most. you’ll see better and more honest results! Also, you can get excited for the weighing day, and for me, I’m even more consistent with eating and restricting since I wanna get as low as possible within a week!
one binge/cheat day a month, this is a day you can eat the chocolate, or the cake or maybe even that pizza, since it’s only once a month, it’s not gonna make a difference in your weight so it’s okay. but try not to do it more often (or less)! you need this day to, first give your body a wake up call and metabolism boost for the next month to come, and second to not end up really binging for a week (again) BUT ALSO, DON’T GO OVERBOARD AND DON’T PURGE ANYTHING!
wallpaper of thinspo, motivational quotes, this is just to keep you motivated and to remind you everyday every second
work out consistently, working out is important when losing weight, since your body automatically also loses some muscle when losing weight, you don’t wanna end up with a sluggish looking, gross body, but with a nice toned body right? So get that workout, cardio and sweat and enjoy it! Working out also makes you happy due to the endorphins that get released afterwards! also this is another way to keep yourself busy and to keep yourself from eating, so win win
cardio, yes we all hate it, but its important, this way you’ll lose most of your fat, while also toning your body by using its muscles. but also don’t forget weight lifting since you wanna build/not lose all your muscles!
don’t set your goals too high, for me, I don’t set myself a goal for the month or anything, I’ll just go with however much my body decides to loose in a certain time. Frustration is a killer to yourself, cause it can cause binging when you don’t see the “right” results, so don’t set any! Of course we all have our goal weights, but don’t set a time limit. It’s far more interesting to see and test your own body at how fast it can go and of what it’s capable
smoothies, honestly these things are what keeps me on track, I’m doing smoothie fasts most of my days and they’re amazing, you lose hella weight while not even being too too hungry, cause although they’re SO low cal (110-150 each) they fill you up so so much! (I get mine from true fruits and innocent, but you can also make your own) also with smoothie fasts (for all my living alone pals) you spend WAY less money on groceries so it’s again a win win lmao
soups are also great if you wanna have something more savory than smoothies
daily Tumblr thinspo scroll, this is most of my evening when I relax in bed. It keeps you busy and gets your mind off of things you don’t want to think about. Honestly I even look forward to this part of the day since it motivates me for the next day while giving me a lot of knowledge too
Soooo, I hope y'all find these helpful the same way as I find them helpful!
I wish y'all a happy and skinny 2019!
