Dear Mom,

You were knowing that

this world is not a safe place of girls

Then, why you didn't killed me

inside your womb.

Since childhood, you have stopped me

from doing many things,

It was a terrible night Mom,

I left from my Friend's house to our house

प्यारी माँ,

तुझे पता था ना कि, यह दुनिया एक बेटी

ठीक नहीं है , तो तुने अपने गर्भ में ही

मार क्यो नही दिया ।

तुने मुझे बचपन से बहुत से काम करने से रोका ,

आज भी रोक देती तो मैं आज

तेरे साथ होती ।

बहुत भयानक रात थी माँ वो,

सहेली के घर से तो मैं,

अपने घर आने के लिए ही निकली थी,

पर, मुझे नहीं पता था कि,

अब मैं किसी से कभी नहीं मिल सकूंगी,

और जो तेरे लिए तोहफा लिया था,

वह भी नहीं दे सकूंगी ।

रास्ते में, कुछ हैवानो ने, दरिंदगी कर दी मेरे साथ।

मैंने खुद को बचाने की कोशिश की,

पर माँ, मुझे माफ करना

मैं खुद को बचा नहीं पाई।

मैं बहुत चीखी, बहुत कष्ट सहा परंतु मैं हार गई।

क्या भविष्य में भी बेटियों के साथ ऐसा होगा ?

माँ, मेरी आत्मा को शांति तब ही मिलेगी

जब उन हैवानो को सजा मिलेगी।

एक आखिरी इच्छा है माँ,

भगवान से प्रार्थना करना कि,

मुझे कभी भी बेटी के रूप मे जन्म न दे,

और भाई से कहना, वह कभी ऐसा काम न करें।
