Hi everyone! I'm redoing my introduction post because I am much more comfortable (and older) now than I was months ago.
I go by the name Astro on this site for privacy purposes.
I am eighteen years old. Both minors and legal adults can interact.
I use it/its and all neopronouns. Please use neopronouns for me.

I'm pretty bad at figuring out how my tone of text comes off to others, so I may use tone tags from time to time. Blog Purpose
The purpose of this blog is mainly to document my experiences as alienkin. Sometimes I will talk about other aspects of my life as well, such as my other kintypes, strong interests of mine, and random topics I have been thinking about.
Kintypes, Theriotypes, and Hearttypes
Because this blog is primarily focused on aspects of my alterhumanity, I'll list my types:
- Alienkin
- Angelkin
- Arctic Fox kin
- Crowhearted
- Deerhearted
I also consider myself alterhuman, therian, otherkin, and polykin, although I do not use these upfront, they just happen to apply to me. I would much prefer if you referred to me as nonhuman, an entity/being/person, or one of my kintypes. I do not use labels for my "origin" (mental, spiritual, physical, etc.)
I mainly identify as an alien and that's my most preferred term. My home star is Vega, but as of now I have very little idea of what specific species I actually am. Think of me as literally any alien that you can come up with. The cooler the better :3
DNI
The usual. Harmful individuals/beliefs, and blogs whose main focus is sexualizing aliens/angels from a human perspective (I am not an advocate against this, I just don't want it on my dash). I block quietly and freely for things that really bother me, but don't walk on eggshells around me—if we don't mesh, it's what it's, there's no point in hiding ourselves.
I am, of course, therian/otherkin/alterhuman, but I am also neurodivergent/disabled, a neopronouns/xenogender user, objectum, and a furry. If you don't support one or more of these points, this blog may not be for you. Additionally, I am a singlet, but I accept all system origins. That ain't my business to debate.
And PLLLLEASE NO NSFW, it makes me quite uncomfortable. I don't care if you post about it on your own blog (again, not my business) but keep it out of interactions directly aimed towards me please.

Some doodles I did to try and express how I experience my types differently. I experience being an alien very physically, like my real body is under my human skin or even that my human body is my real one in disguise. Being an Arctic fox is very mental, any shifts come with mental shifts and I find myself generally thinking like one. Being an angel is more spiritual, though I have complicated feelings about it as I still haven't quite sorted out the entire Spirit concept. Best way I can put it is in the image itself.
It's not my best work (especially with Body lmao), but I moreso just wanted to get something down on paper. And I'm satisfied with the other two. I'll take another shot when I improve my art skills. 👍
So I had to help out in nursery at church today, and my mom (who works there) asked if I wanted to stop coming to church. Very exciting!!! I played it cool but I was super stoked that I don't have to whittle away 2 hours doing nothing anymore!
And then five minutes later a church leader walks in to give me an official nursery calling, which means not only will I have to keep coming, I will also be fingerprinted

The 13th annual international gender census, collecting information about the language we use to refer to ourselves and each other, is now open until 13th August 2026.
It’s short and easy, for most participants it takes 5 minutes or less.
After the survey is closed I’ll process the results and publish a spreadsheet of the data and a report summarising the main findings. Another random rant, but the amount of fur products like tails geared toward therians I've seen for sale lately that are labeled as faux fur but are very clearly real fur is infuriating. I get it when it's someone that just has a random tail on Depop and it was a gift or something they aren't that interested in, but I'm seeing TONS of "therian gear" shops pop up all of a sudden selling real farmed tails as faux fur. And so many people posting their tail hauls saying/believing they're fake fur when they definitely aren't. Even if it's an unnatural color, if it looks super real there's a 99% chance it's a real taxidermy tail dyed a fun color! The stores/sites you wouldn't expect to have taxidermy because they're seemingly too cheap (like amazon/temu) ARE selling farmed taxidermy as faux fur too. If it has a thin leather strip in the center that the fur is coming from and no other fabric except that, it is taxidermy.

lately, there's been a huge influx of blogs with urls like "staff28572" tagging people in posts, and telling them things like "security notice / need to verify your blog ", etc. And they'll direct you to click on a link.
Don't click it. It's a phishing scam. Block and report the blog if you get tagged by them. Tumblr staff will never tag you in a post like that... and they don't have a million side staff blogs. The only real tumblr staff blogs are @staff and @support.
