Anyway. there’s only so much muscle you can build at once even at 5000 calories a day, so naturally they start putting on fat as well, but they don’t really notice bc they’re so focused on their competition and flexing their arms. and when their season starts their teammates are like “whoah maybe you want to slow down a bit on the bulk there…?” but they’re still in turbo-competitive mode and ignore them. then they finally go to hookup after a game and they take their shirts off and ilya looks at shane and laughs and says “When I said get bigger, I did not mean your waistline,” because Shane has gotten undeniably chubby. Huge strong arms, yes, but also thick love handles and a big soft belly. And Shane looks down and flushes as he realizes for the first time how much fat he’d put on, but then he narrows his eyes at Ilya and goes “Well, that’s the only category you beat me in,” because Ilya’s waist is even wider than Shane’s, and his soft hairy tummy is fat enough to hang a little over his waistband. Now it’s Ilya’s turn to be embarrassed, because how the hell did he get so fat without realizing, and then they’re both standing their awkwardly trying to act like they’re not incredibly turned on by the other’s new plush padding. Anyway Shane ends up riding Ilya and their matching soft tummies press together the whole time like a kiss and it’s the hottest thing they’ve ever experienced
