I was looking forward to this one, because I have been following Emmie for a quite a while; since the Lore Olympus days; so I had so so so much fun looking through all of their characters; only to pick the most popular two much like everyone else. Lmao. The characters featured are Aster and Icarus from the lovely @emmieaster

This character's name is Adrikson, and for the life of my I have no idea how to properly pronounce it aloud, but boy is he pretty~ My goodness is this a pretty character! I found out midway through drawing him that the ribbons grow out of his head, not so much is just tied in his hair, and that intrigued me so fucking much...but not enough, to change my linework. ;w; I believe I found the artist camerontheundead on Tiktok, but they are also on Instagram under Carmen.v.v.art !

So it was really exciting to be able to have the motivation to do a proper attack for you this year post our last art trade, of all things! It's been such a blast to see the way your style has grown and developed since we were both borderline sobbing over our coding classes...Ahaha. I loved making this piece, despite how low effort it felt in the moment. Just the thought process of putting this piece otgether was a blast! I know...close to nothing about the Hunger Games franchise, nor the world; but what I do know, fucking terrifies me. ;W; And, seeing @aureritart having such a soft and lively art style and character design in such a bleak, unnerving setting; and not only that but coming out the Victor? Well, I really wanted to capture that feeling. Not only that, but the fact that she gets chosen at The Reaping with braids, and longer hair, and most art has her having this cute lil bob! I wanted to capture that like, fleeting childhood innocence as well, in a way. Not too sure if that came across, but I still like the attempt! :D The characters name is Clara, also!

I do not for the life of me remember how I found furthertowander on Instagram, but they have a freaking remarkable home page on ArtFight, and a really gorgeous art style! This drawing I made was of their sona, Wander, who is a ferret furry! Which is close enough to mine in nature for me to get really excited when I saw them! :D I loved making this piece, even if it came out kind of lopsided in the end...The right arm do kinda just be there-

I am so sincerely feral over @owmytopsurgeryscars username XD It fucking kills me every time. Because, yeah dude; that's a mood. This characters name is Celeste, and they actually have another design with an object head, instead of being humanoid. I am....severely out of the know when it comes to both object head related media, and also object head OCs / characters, but fuck me are they pretty cool! They are super inspirational, and I do look back at this piece disappointed that I didn't try drawing it; but I do adore how this piece came out. I love drawing love hair, because I like messing around with the swoopy shapes and lines. ;w; Celeste was perfect for that in stars human form.

This one was very simple, but I had fun making it. ;W; I love any opportunity given to practice my linework and experiment with shading; and every since this piece and a few others, I have started shading more and more and enjoying it a lot! The character is Royal Teddy, from KittyCat on ArtFight!

I found pawkoi because they followed me first, actually. And I looked at their page and was really blown away by their art style! When an artist that is very developed follows me first, I get all weird and embarrassed. ;w; But I had run low on motivation that night, and wanted something a little more simple to do so, I chose their character KITTY to draw, and got to experiment not only with drawing in a lineless style again, but I did it in a new way technique wise, and that was really fun!!

What can I say, I am an OG Puzzlii fan. ;w; and...man its been so long that @druidshollow has gone by that name, and I'm not even sure I spelt it right...lmfao. Anyways, I've been following Cheston's YouTube for many many years, but had absolutely zero clue until seeing them post that they were doing AF this year, that he posts here on Tumblr now! Aaaahhhh, I am a fool!! ;0; His art inspired the hell out of me back in the day, and still inspired me now; and seeing how much his art style has developed has been so so so enjoyable! I am so excited to have found his account and artwork again. This character is Pinewhisper, Druid's fanclan Warriors OC. I love an angry, fluffy bitch. But I also love, an angry, tired, medicine cat bitch. UwU
