“Oh yeah! Most definitely. I don’t need to live out of my suitcase anymore.” He mentioned to her as he laughed softly. “Do you plan to eventually move out of your suitcase and into something else?” He asked her curiously. 

vronjames:

“Isn’t that the best though? The ones who are the total cliches of people who travel?” he chuckled. “How’s that working out for you? You know, the whole trying not paying attention to others.” he pondered her question, wondering if he recalled any charity stores. “You know, I think there’s a thrift store at the end of town that we could take your things too.”

vronjames:

“Exactly, whatever makes you happy,” he nodded in agreement. “Hey, excuses are excuses, it shouldn’t matter what other people think.” Gavin nipped at his lower lip before he smiled softly, “Is there anything that I could help with?” he offered.

vronjames:

Gavin chuckled, “Well, – So be it then.. Continue to living in your suitcase,” he nodded quickly. “Oh, no problem. It’s true, what I said – You’re not the only one who lives out of suitcases. But, how long have you been back? Has it been long enough to kind of not be acceptable?” he teased slightly.

“Don’t take it personally, ‘cause it’s not like you’re the only one. No one likes packing or unpacking at all – It’s an inconvenience especially when its for a short period of time,” he shrugged his shoulders, looking at the other with a vague smile. “But, I guess to answer your question, I think it’s acceptable.”

“It’s definitely a little weird, but I doubt anyone’s going to be bothered if you do. Doesn’t unpacking clothes take like, 10 minutes tops though?”

“It does, unless you’re me and I keep getting distracted. So far it’s taken me 20 minutes just to do toiletries cause i keep seeing cool things on youtube and sitting back down to watch it. I think i need an intervention.”

“Everyone likes to shun living out of a suitcase, but I don’t think that is a bad thing to do at all!” He mentioned to her as he chuckled softly. “I have lived out of one and when I clean my clothes, I put them back in.”

vronjames:

“Now you’re making it sound like I’m trying to date a cat. Are all pets this difficult or am I just really clumsy at this? Yes, a blunt man. How very cliché of me.”

“Now, you said it not me. Cats can be fussy... but i think it’s a mixture of both. Once again... you said it, not me.”

“You should definitely go soon, I think it’s a place everyone should experience,” Sofia smiled. “No, we had a television, but I did other things most of the time and rarely watched it. You know, I hung out with my brother, I went to school.”

“Yeah? I mean i’ve read it’s beautiful but still... never even planned out going. Yeah but... i mean you had down time right. What did you do then?”

“You know that actually doesn’t sound like that bad of an idea.” he laughed. “I just need to find someone to implement it with now.”

Ronnie couldn’t help but smile. “Sounds like a good idea to me.” She laughed with him. “Well.. I’m not usually one to share.... But I think i can supply the chocolate if you bring the ice cream.”

Talking to Veronica, Benji was instantly filled with an immense sense of guilt.  Although Ronnie hadn’t done anything wrong, Benji had cut her out of his life, probably at a time when she needed him most.  It had been in his own self-interest, a way to try and keep hold of his fragile sanity, but it had been a selfish action.  Because of this, he felt like he needed to apologize, but if Veronica didn’t think he needed to, then this could get awkward if he did so.  “I’m…I’m alright,” Brook replied, feeling awkward.  “Are you?  I didn’t think you’d still be in Everwood.”

Benji didn’t know how this encounter was going to go.  The last time he had see Ronnie was his last day in The Dinah Home, and they’d never talked again.  That was almost exclusively on Benji’s shoulders though.  Not long after his release, he’d left Everwood, never looking back.  So he didn’t know if Ronnie would be angry at him or not.  “Hey Veronica,” Benji greeted her.  “Long time no see.”

“Wow... that must’ve been amazing. I’ve travelled a little, but i’ve never been to Russia. No television? What did you do?”

This was the last person he’d been expecting to run into, and for a second, Benji was sure he had to be imagining it or else that this wasn’t who he thought it had been.  But the closer she came, the more certain Benji was that he was about to run into Veronica James.  It wasn’t that he didn’t like Veronica because he did.  But the fact of the matter was that they had known each other during a very difficult time in his life, a time he had long ago locked away for good.  Or so he had thought.  But Veronica had seen him already, so there was no getting out of this chance meeting.  Waving at her sheepishly, Benji walked toward his old friend.

“I’m actually kind of glad I know what The Powerpuff Girls are, considering I’m usually so clueless about American things like that,” Sofia grinned. “But seriously, that’s not a bad life goal and I totally support it.”

“You are? I mean it’s like a classic staple of childhood. How come? Thank you my friend.”

vronjames:

―― “ Oh, no, I am. I just haven’t got a pet. Some birds are cool, like cockatoos or parrots. ”
