THIRD TIME'S THE CHARM (i'm definitely going to hate it)

as a swiftie naiirita rin ako makakita ng lyrics ni taylor sa mga reels/interviews abt olivia's songs. like gets naman, minsan kasi it's the same idea, but then that's true for a lot of songs, not just them so i feel like commenting those things unintentionally(?) dilutes olivia's artistry and since the album is still new i feel like we should just focus on her (especially on content that's specifically abt her!!)

Wala akong natapos basahin this May :(( Akala ko pa naman magagawa ko na yung at least one book a month (which is a huge improvement from my normal reading habit!) pero di pa rin pala. But I did read this month, di ko lang natapos talaga!

Currently, I'm reading Demon Copperhead. Apparently it's a retelling of Dickens' David Copperfield pero di ko rin naman nabasa yun so di ko rin alam ieexpect ko nung inistart ko. But I like it a lot!! I used to say na I usually read light novels and romance, and that's true but mostly it's because it is what is accessible to me before, but recently I realized how my best reads are from genres outside of my usual ones. Very different topics pero nakukuha ko rin dito sa book yung vibe ng Things Fall Apart. Ayun, gusto ko siya!! :D I think it's the kind of story that will stick with me for a long time.

Aside from that, I'm reading Seek Ye Whore. Pero binabasa ko lang siya pag nasa office, so di siya super active reading and I don't mind not finishing it quickly. Short stories naman din kasi siya. Dati gusto ko yung pag nagbasa ako, matatapos ko agad. Pero may prof ako na nagsabi na dapat daw matutunan din namin yung slow reading, and back then di ko talaga siya gets at di ko siya kaya, pero ngayon gets ko na. Not every book has to be read in one sitting. Ngayon nga, ito meron akong books na binabasa lang in certain situations. Hindi naman ako super nawawala and I think nagwowork naman siya for me. :)
