“The verdict is in and it turns out that actually I can’t toss pancakes. But at least Lola is going to have a nice surprise when they finally fall. Dogs can eat pancakes, right?”

“I’ve been picking glitter out of my hair for almost two days now. That’s 3 showers it’s managed to endure. Do yourself a favour, skip parenthood - it’s a nightmare. And if a child ever asks you if they can dress you up like a pretty princess? Say no.”

Karina watched in interest as she noticed that the bartenders in the bar weren’t exactly paying attention or checking id’s. Maybe it was because of Pride and they were being generous or maybe it was because they were just way too many people wanting drinks to have the time. “Hmm... they don’t really seem to be checking id’s.. think I could get away with asking for a drink?” She said to the person closest by. She was still nineteen, twenty in a few months but still underage.

“I am literally the world’s worst unpacker, I just keep getting distracted. I’ll just live out of the suitcase until it’s empty. That’s acceptable right?”

“I know New York’s only three hours ahead of us, but I get so jet lagged for some reason. And I should be used to it by now.”
