it’s really interesting how when sens8 came out so many posts were created begging people to watch it despite it’s racist creators because if it failed “no new tv shows with lgbt representation would made”. And yet here we have a show made up of young black/latino actors, created with heavy involvement from the DJ, hip hop, and dance community that accurately showcases lgbt music history but still is getting low ratings.

The Get Down is seriously good, well worth giving it a chance
