A Ghost whose Guardian they were familiar with. Maybe even friends.

A Ghost who had spent centuries around the City, and had first met their Guardian back when she was just a little girl, learning how to walk with her parents in the market.

A Ghost who had witnessed this girl grow up. Recalls when they started working the family business as a young teen. Remembers her mother’s pride when she’d passed her jumpship certifications, and her father’s consternation about her moving up to work in the Tower.

A Ghost who had passed by their Guardian almost every day during their work with the Vanguard, seeing her come and go running deliveries across the system with her crew.

A Ghost who was around for her Guardian’s first love, her first loss, her first taste of the world outside the city. There for her worst days and her best days and all the days they were both supposed to forget in between.

A Ghost who was there for the procession after the woman who would become her Guardian’s ship went down just outside the Reef. Who saw the tears of her mother and father, saw them holding eachother and clutching at eachother and asking why she had to go first.
