ramb and tenna meeting was chordal but tenna didnt like the high horse ramb rode in on as kris's newfound toy. well thats fine! just remember your place and that the tv is forever. youre just a toy. im part of the family. that sort of thing. but tenna is Nice and hes not going to say that out loud, esp when ramb isnt like being a jerk. being plucked from your home and spirited away leaves ramb wanting to make a good impression. hes kind to ramb and welcomes him. big highlight of rambs stay in tv world.

ramb and tennas nicknames are pretty cut and dry. tenna tried to use pet names with ramb whenever he wants to butter ramb up but ramb tends to shut it down, or remain unbuttered. if tenna is particularly overjoyed and caught in himself, he will use rammy, but those days are over. they have a much more business relationship slash tense where tenna is commanding ramb where he doesnt feel the desire to be playful like that towards ramb.

rambs nicknames are a habit he cant help but to hold onto. his familiar yet detached way of addressing others keeps people at a distance while appearing close. ramb began their friendship with mate, as the two kept being close by, rambs affection towards tenna rose and he started to use luv when addressing tenna playfully. during the Heat of their romantic relationship iiiiiii like to playfully write luv as love instead, while verbally indistinguishable, i think of it as another level of tennas "i love tv" placation. after everything, ramb continues to use familial terms with tenna, continuing to playfully address tenna, even if now theres a lot more spite and sarcasm in his tone. likes to dig at tennas age to poke him where it hurts (his inability to handle the flow of time)

i chose rambs song as cutlery, a song about a relationship that no longer exists, but the singer will continue to set the table for, but also desires for it all to be over.

theres another line i thought about quoting instead which was "i opened my eyes and no one is there anymore. this doesn't make a good joke" as a nod to rambs jokes and how hes alone again.

theres a lot of emotions being shut away in this song i thought was apt for ramb and his stiff upper lip and all.

tennas song was pale machine, a song that is a romantic desire for the singer to be Fixed of their depression, that their dear will be the key for things to be finally perfect.

i felt like it was a really good for rambtenna in general but more with tenna, as its kind of desperate to complete the facade of happiness, the break in the song like a break in tenna composure.

theres also parts of the translation that say "full of feelings, i want it to rain, dont you?" which makes me think about tenna wanting to share his feelings with ramb but maybe they arent on the same page. its tennas bid for connection with ramb.

the end of the song, the machine gives the singer comfort, like a mother does to her baby, which is another aspect to rambtenna i think about, is ramb taking care of tenna, which is a role i think ramb does often as a caretaker type of person.

ok well. hehe <3 tenna loosing spamton by keeping him Too Close, causing him to draw towards ramb and confess and act romantic towards ramb. anything to distract him from that big shot.

they are both so fucking stubborn but. i can see them both halfheartedly apologizing for whatever thing happened. tenna bc ramb isnt being sweetie to him anymore, and ramb bc hes tired of tenna being like this.

tenna is always popping in when he isnt supposed to give orders or ask something. and ramb will materialize whenever tenna is doing anything regarding kris to say Some Shit to tenna that pisses him off.

guys is it toxic yaoi if youre dating your boss but hes imagining his old cohost who disappeared is you and you are also pretending you could possibly fill that role and you are using your boss to feel like someone who could be loved, that anyone could possibly love you again after being seemingly abandoned by the one person who you truly loved and never will get over. and your boss loves paperwork and legally binding contracts and not paying you.

tenna and ramb are the same fucking character i dont know how to keep saying this but they are the same guy but everyone loves tenna and everyone hates ramb.

rambs one thing is coming in and starting to remind tenna that kris wouldnt like things a certain way. and tenna hates being reminded that he could be doing something wrong. but also. he would know ramb is right, in some ways. even if hes being petulant and stubborn. they both are.

translate that to other parts of their relationship and im thinking about ramb making backhanded observations that tenna KNOWS is right and hes so mad ramb said it bc hes right but its not how tenna wants to do things. and ramb will accept that as a victory before wording his next sentences to make it seem like it was tennas idea and belittle himself to placate tenna and return him to his status quo.

talked about it before but tenna is trying to get over spamton. really hard. so he looks at the one guy who was there when they were safe, when they were kris's toys. when everyone else from that time period is gone, removed to the library and to the classroom. all that remains is ramb. and tenna reverts back to desiring the comfort and stability of that time period of his life. the good ol days.

ramb wants it too. he was close with spamton, and hes alone again. no one in tv world likes ramb. he has no friends. people ignore him. and here comes tenna. here to fill the wide, vast hole in rambs heart. ramb eagerly falls to whatever tenna says. whats he going to do? reject the only love hes been given lately? the hope of kris will tide him over. but no one is an island, even a darkner who wants so badly to efface himself if it would benefit the godly figure of kris. tenna reminds him of the past. and he wants it so badly.

one day, the honeymoon will end. the differences of their circumstance and how theyve grown away as people are just too vast. getting too close to someone who is fundamentally designed to piss you off, no matter how needy and desperate you are, will eventually break the camels back. and it does. and they become coworkers again. and the bitterness persists.

but despite the sheer amount they piss each other off, how theyll never see eye to eye on things, you cant tell yourself none of that didnt make you feel Good. and those good times still happened and still you find comfort in them.
