tbh i never really expected a full-on fanart of my pfp, especially since i've been meaning to update it for the longest time (seriously, it's probably no longer funny to be a mogus). though i tend to keep things simple still by drawing myself as a head on legs.

(psst! i scribbled up a quick reference just now as well for how i'd normally draw myself [the funni amogus is not how i normally am supposed to look...whoops]. it's mostly just a bright yellow suit with green gloves and boots, but i'm not super consistent with the color and style of the apron. perhaps there's multiple?? who knows)

I’m starting to wonder if there’s going to be a place for me in deltarune fandom by the end of the game. Which won’t be for a couple of years, but ch2 almost feels like it was yesterday…

I mean, since ch2, my mind has been preoccupied with pretty much the same thing (shovelware family stuff), and I’ve held onto that even into the present. Even that’s a holdover from not wanting to let go of something I did when we only had ch1.

I wonder sometimes if it’s even worth it. Even if I have fun with friends, writing and drawing for it, isn’t it a little pointless if no one else likes it? If they’re not interested, and would much rather be elsewhere?

Genuinely baffled that in the ch1 days, people literally said that Ralsei’s face reveal was a letdown, and that him looking like Asriel was “lazy and rushed,” and recolored his hatted sprites to claim they “fixed” it.

There's this weird tendency among fandom types where they'll take a character, and insist that they are fans of them, before changing their design, age, pronouns, backstory, blood type, species, hometown, favorite color, zodiac sign, medical history, and every other facet of their being.

They will then violently insist that this version is superior to the canon one and act like they "fixed" them and it's like. Buddy that's not the same character anymore. That's just your own oc commiting identity fraud. Like. I get the desire to experiment with different interpretations of a story. But first of all it's okay to just make an original character if that's what you really want to do. And second of all, are you even really a fan of the character you "fixed" if they're a completely different person afterwards?

Like. Idk dude for somebody who claims to be a fan you sure don't seem to like them as they are :/
