I don't think they can do anything funnier than Kaito continually producing doves throughout a conversation. The comedic pacing in that scene alone. How are they going to top that.
"Oh okay he's got one dove that's pretty reasonable."
"More doves. Yeah, he can just make those. This is just one of his stims."
"Okay Kaito calm down"
"Kaito."
"KAITO PLS."
Yeah one of ny favorite tunes they show the major difference between Conan and Kaito's perspectives is the Heist where he returns those items. From Conan's perspective he just returned the items out of nowhere and was in complete control the entire time, so much so it feels Ike Maito gave the hint about his mother o a complete whim. But from Kaito's perspective we see he was cursing the whole situation because he'd already been through utter hell leading up to this performance and was jsut trying to get it done and over with
Swapping POVs on anything regarding Kaito is instant comedy every time. One of my favorites is the clocktower heist where we get Shinishi POV and he's all "Damn. He had an escape plan prepared. He's crafty." meanwhile on Kaito's end of things he saw someone shooting at him and the entire thought process was "Gun. About to be caught. GUN. Well fuck it let's just tuck and roll hope I survive this."
And the reason it's so charming, at least to me, is the fact that Kaito specifically wants there to be that dramatic contrast between his understanding of a heist and the onlookers'. One of his stated Things is the poker face. Or, in more common theatre parlance: "You haven't messed up until the audience knows you've messed up." And like a lot of basic rules of the stage, Kaito has taken that and woven it into the very fiber of his being. KID heists looking mysterious and suave from the outside but in actuality being riddled with problems and setbacks proves that Kaito really is that good at what he's doing.
post adrenalin-coup
And when KID held the jewel of the evening up to the moonlight and it did not reveal itself to be Pandora, the thief’s grin vanished. Kaito sighed, the mask falling away. He sat down on the edge of the building, leaving cape and top hat behind and with them, the weight of the responsibility he had imposed upon himself. For a moment, he was neither thief nor magician, nor a son. Just a young man sitting in the cold of the night, savoring the silence of the stars.
(Still figuring out how to shade digital haha)
I will always find it funny how gosho desperately wants his two boys to cross paths, and the obvious way is at a heist. But he can't let KID get caught, for obvious reasons. And he also refuses to have Conan bested, because Shinichi HAS to be the perfect little genius. So his conclusion is to have Conan give the flimsiest excuses of "oh I'll let you go THIS time because x y and z, but NEXT time."
And instead of the intented outcome, he unintentionally just made the gayest little rivalry between the two, because what other in-universe explanation is there??

An incomplete list of my favorite Kaito Unhinged Prodigy Moments that go completely unremarked on
Does the calculations for how long it will take a car pushed off a skyscraper to hit the ground while actively in said car and actively falling off said skyscraper
Wins At Heist only because he has multiple lineups of international birthstones memorized
Glances at a glass box, eyeballs the dimensions, and then goes into the bathroom and cuts a panel that fits inside said box so perfectly that it's watertight
Somehow manages to tinker with the mechanisms of a revolving restaurant (already insane) and hangs stationary inside while shooting accurately at a target as it spins past him (okay, flex). Also manages to time all of this so his final shot aligns with the moment a secondary moving target is directly behind the person he's shooting at (what)
Is so insanely bad at pool that he rigs the entire table with wires that he subtly plucks to guide the ball along the trajectory he wants it to go. Which seems like it would be harder than just teaching himself how to play pool.
Made his own gun
Comepelling part of Conan (The Smart Kid Not Understanding How He's Losing To Me) and Kaito (Me, Who's Been Eating The Pieces When He's Not Looking)'s dynamic is we're shown time and time again that Kaito is incredibly traditionally booksmart. He has an eidetic memory. He can calculate wind resistence versus gravity to determine terminal velocity while actively falling off a building. He casually memorizes nine digit numbers without thinking about it. If he wanted to, he could easily join the infestation of pubescent logic-driven intellectual prodigies that plague the area. But no. He willfully commits to solving all of his problems through the power of the performing arts. Purely for love of the game.
Kaitou heists where a fake KID sends the notice are all bangers because every time without fail the news goes and reports "Kaitou KID announces plans to steal priceless artifact tonight at 10pm!!!" and somewhere Kaito squints at his tv, quickly scrubs through his memory of the past 24 hours, and goes "I? Am?"
And then he shows up anyway and steals the thing he literally wasn't even planning on stealing until a few hours ago because he has a reputation to uphold, dammit.
Since Kaito has multiple times now traveled internationally under the guise of Kudo Shinichi (he does it in both Sunflowers of Inferno and Fist of the Blue Sapphire), I think there's a nonzero chance that Kaito actually broke into the mansion ages ago and just stole his passport. Conan gets un-shrunk and one of the first things he has to do is go on a mad quest to reclaim his government ID.
The police making no progress on the KID case seems kind of silly until you're not in Kaito pov and suddenly realize what an absolute wildcard Kaitou Kid is from an outside perspective.
His schtick is usally stealing large jewels. Except when it's not, and he randomly steals paintings and people and baseballs. Sometimes he doesn't even steal the things he says he's going to steal he just shows up, messes with everyone for a few hours, and leaves. He always sends an advance notice of when he's going to do crime but it varies wildly between multifaceted riddles that you need like three incredibly niche phds to crack or a simple "see you guys at midnight k thx byeee :)". He took an eight year sabbatical and when he came back he straight up started returning everything he stole. He's exposed multiple people for committing massive insurance scams. He's admitted to stalking his police inspector and his family. One time he crashed a play and started writing fanfiction for the show and then broke into the tech booth to make it a reality. Every single turn this guy makes is a left. He's chaos incarnate.

This is easily one of the CRAZIEST videos I've ever gotten. I was rafting down a river when a Yellow Jacket came, landed on my bright pink waterproof phone pouch, and started drinking from the water droplets that had gathered there.
The most amazing part is how the water droplet magnifies the Hornet's mouth parts, so you get to see them up-close!!!! It was FASCINATING to witness!
Here's some of my favorite still shots from that video:
