Who here remembers a channel called Discovery Kids? I'm wondering if anyone here has any vivid memories of when it got replaced by The Hub. I remember being sad when The Hub replaced this channel. While I liked The Hub quite a bit, it was hard to get used to that channel at first.

I got the impression that the party in the finale was kinda formal dress, and I wanted to get something that fit that, but also still showed their individual flair. I also thought it was neat that Val and Vel had matching outfits, which set them apart from Vox because it thematically mirrors how astray Vox has gone from his team.

For Vox, I actually prefer his rally outfit, so I would give him that one. The trench coat was tacky, imo. So I didn't feel the need to explore more beyond a light and dark variation. I think I'd stick with the lighter one. Side note, I liked the little blacktip shark find details on his lapels and tailcoat.

For Val, I want to see the 70s aesthetic. I don't have a problem with him dressing more feminine, I just like the slutty 70s look on him. The first, mostly white one, was meant to somewhat match Vox, while still feeling off. Like there was an attempt to coordinate, but Vox is too busy going solo now. Then I just tried a few different combinations. Side note, fitting his glasses on his face is hard. I don't like the heart ones, because it makes the corners of his eyes look like nostrils. I think he should alternate through a few different frames, like Elton John. But round and square shapes are probably the easiest to get on him, imo.

Vel was more difficult. In the show, her dress felt a little plain. I assume it's because animating her fight scene with Niffty would be hard with long, flowy fabric to account for, so she ditched her Val-inspired vest-thing. Also the moment where her doll parts get all dismembered was probably easier to animate if the outfit didn't obscure her joints.

I wanted her to stay matching with Val to some extent. So her hat has a feather similar to his antenna. One way or another, I want to keep the fur collar, even if she does take it off later. I tried a couple options with bellbottoms, but that might run into practical issues with her dismemberment scene(as if I would have to worry about animating it, lol).
