tnemm is such an exercise in seeing how important it is for us to have others who *get* us. tnemm is a group full of trans girls, full of plural systems, full of autism, adhd, medical trauma, disability, parental trauma, touch statvation, social isolation, and kink.
it was the kink that brought us together. the starting point. making it transfem made it easier, made it safer. it became plural because that was who we are. the miscellany, and a dozen other systems, all together.
we're getting together for kink, but it's made a space where we can learn and grow with each other. we're developing as systems. we're sharing interests and making friendships and forming relationships.
this thing is a community leader, and it's damn good at it but beside that it's found a group of folks who are the perfect companions to finally get to do all that weird kink with who also get the fact that this thing is a part of a system that's traumatised and desperate for connection.
every time it's time to go home it stings so much because these girls are *home*. every time we get together we play and we heal. we are healing and sharing and growing and loving and Healing.

a pervasive aggression against trans people that meant the UK's broadcasting regulator Ofcom allowed TalkTV to publish "a torrent of misinformation and transphobic hate."
Fight against the oppression that has led to Trans Exile Network, TACC, Compton's Cafe and Transpilot issuing a global travel advisory to the LGBTQIA+ community, warning against travel to the UK.
Speak out against hate that has allowed the state to implement a tell before you kiss law allowing people to retroactively accuse trans people of rape for "deception as to sex" resulting in a girl being wrongly convicted and imprisoned for 2 years for sexual assault.
Call for action against a country and government that has restricted healthcare discriminatingly against trans folks forcing us to be on waitlists of up to 224 years.
a Government that has completely removed access to healthcare for trans children under 16 and is now considering increasing that to the age of 18.
A government that calls for doctors to not only refuse healthcare to children but also report their families to safeguarding if they support their kids, and suggest the removal of shared healthcare options for all Trans folks.
A government that is banning discussion and acknowledgement of us in schools², and encourages schools to segregate trans children³ in line with the segregation we will experience due to the EHRC guidance coming into force in 5 days (9th of July 2026)
This is all the last 2 years... a decades long meteoric rise of hate and vitriol spewed at trans folks culminating in 2 years of legislation and stripping of rights dragging us from one of the best places in the world to be trans right down to the bottom of the countries in Europe.
2 years of hate from funding by right wing billionaires to scapegoat trans folks and immigrants and placate the people, they are doing it because we are quiet, because we are accepting their lies, lies that we are powerless to stop them, lies that they need the money and labour that they suck from us like a scavenger sucking marrow from bones. They will only stop if we make them know that we will not give up and die, we will not accept their lies, we will fight them tooth and nail, we will keep fighting and never abandon any of our siblings, we will not accept the transphobia they push to eradicate us, we will not accept the xenophobia they preach to kill migrants, we will not accept the racism embedded in their words to slaughter black people, we will not accept the blinkers they give us to hide the disabled, we will not accept it. We will fight it. and we WILL win.
And that victory, our victory, will be won by either our hands and words, or their (metaphorical) blood. It is time for them to choose which it will be.

I'm used to using a cane now, but it is more of a hindrance than aid during build so I'm going without... and girls... how did I cope with this pain all the time before.
Day 1, trucks arrive and we do a lot of hurry up and wait for our kit to arrive.
Build crew meanwhile are full steam putting venues together for us to get into the rest of this week
Unfortunately I had to bin a bunch cos they got tangled in my hivis but a small start today.
We're at a good point, 2 venues almost tech ready and 8 looms labelled and ready to loom.
I have come to the conclusion that I should bring my cane to work and put it away during the day so walking to and from is less painful and I only have to deal with the pain during work hours.
After our brief hurry up and wait period we tipped 2 trucks and set to work quickly.
It feels good, we've settled back into working with everyone well and (except the 1 new, and only, man in the lighting team) I feel like my expertise isn't being questioned and is appreciated. (Obviously the man was the slowest and least efficient of all of us, and messiest)
Anyway, I need to get food and a shower so see you all tomorrow for day 2 of the build.
Day 2 lunch, and the production manager is also on lunch so I get to chat with my friend who is far too busy otherwise. Miss him being on the ground with us, but it's nice to catch him in these moments.
Day 2 over, we didn't do the two venues we had planned to as all hands were called to the dome (2nd site) to unload dome container #1 which took so long but needed to happen and went well.
Day 3 is over and it was a big one. 4 venues mostly done another dome container tipped and one exhausted girl in bed. Sadly the tshirt had to come off as it was too warm when tipping the container but I have a pic anyway
