After a brief hiatus StL Comics After Hours is back!

A Hammer Films production starring Christopher Lee as Dracula and Peter Cushing as Doctor Van Helsing, this was the first vampire movie ever filmed in color.

This film marks Boris Karloff's final performance as the Monster.

Curt Siodmak was the writer, while George Waggner took on the roles of producer and director.

Director William Castle introduced an innovative gimmick called "Percepto!" by wiring certain theater seats with vibrating buzzers to heighten the scare factor for audiences. These buzzing seats, made from surplus airplane wing de-icers, were activated during key scenes, especially when the infamous "tingler" creature was on the loose in the theater. This thrilling addition was paired with other dramatic stunts, like hiring actors to scream and pretend to faint, enhancing the overall experience.
