I've been gaming for over thirty years, so I'm aware that in principle it's nothing new for a major video game publisher to use furry thirst traps to market a forthcoming title. Hell, they used to run them in magazines.
In practice, learning which particular publisher is doing so to market which particular game this time around was kind of a "...huh" moment.
