Back in late 2020, I adopted this little weirdo. I've posted about him many a time in the past.
Ness has been a constant in my life, and now also my husband's, through a series of wild changes. Even now at 12 years old he still has the energy of a kitten, running and leaping and getting in trouble. He has less than half of his teeth, almost always has his tongue sticking out of his mouth, and is utterly fascinated by pens.
A couple of months ago, he grew exceptionally lethargic and stopped eating his usual food. After a lot of running around (and coming close to unnecessary surgery that would have done more harm than not) he was ultimately diagnosed with lymphoma. This is among the most common and treatable cancers in cats, but therein lies the rub, the treatment.
He has started chemotherapy, and even with his first few treatments his turnaround has been amazing. It's like he's almost back to normal. I want him to be able to keep getting better and hopefully stay with us for years to come.
This crowdfunding site is directly vetted with our veterinarian and all payments go directly to them for his care. I have no access to the money for anything except saving his life, and nor do i want it for anything else. I know times are absolutely awful and that there are a lot of other causes looking for aid. But if you're able, or can at least spread the word, there's at least one little guy (and two little guy adjacent humans) who would be grateful to you forever. Thank you.
