SURPRISE!! I threw together a little something after inspiration struck yesterday. Making PMVs/animatics/whatever is definitely not my strongest skill, but I really wanted to make my thoughts come to life at least a little.

oh, i had a long day at the Long Day Factory, and i popped open my activity feed and HEY!!!! THERE'S THIS AWESOME PMV JUST WAITING FOR ME!!!!!! i've watched this a million bazillion times!!! i have it open on my phone so i can reference it in this reblog because i have so much to say!!

the film constantly being around bobby!! the memories that just won't quit!! how malnourished he still is!! that was really striking to me. THE MIRROR!!! the tendrils just leaking out (-oh, i'm not spoiling anything, but lemme just say. oh boy for the upcoming chapters!!-) as bobby looks at himself in this fit of palpable despair. he doesn't like the person he's become, someone without prospects or connections! burning those bridges himself - making himself alone to the point of alienating his own archetypes. the HOMES!!! god, outer space, whispering rock, his childhood house, it's painful!! he can't return!! and those homes are for his archetypes, too, so the follow-up to the mirror being cracked and reflecting strongman and ambassador as parts of his glaring face while bobby is his lower body, they're all isolated! their eyes being present with the "dissociate through another day" is great like life is just passing them by up until bobby's breaking point to kickstart b-movie. back for the mirror, i love how he turns away, and it's just himself. he's alone! he can't rely on his archetypes! he's much too bitter and vengeful. AND OHH CHAPTER 24!! STRONGMAN GOT ME!!! ambassador is an alien, but he's still much human. he's bobby, and he's just as lonely as he is - and so is strongman!! the weapons being their reflections, being handled by the other archetype inflicting the pain, it's so good. strongman with that gash across his face as he looks up with tears at ambassador - OHHH, that was heartbreaking!! strongman was alone for years before ambassador should up, and he looked up to him for a little while, so having the table turns (after brutalizing ambassador oops) is pure anguish for him (until he fights back again, but in that moment, he's devastated!) GAAAH AND THE ENDING!!! bobby being strangled by the film!!! he can't be like raz or chloe!! he's just living with regrets!! AND CHLOE!! OH, my hand smacked over my mouth when the other phone was CUT!!! she tried!! she tried so hard to stay connected to him even after he cut *her*out!! ooough, chloe all shrouded in the background, covered by reels of bobby....what if we all exploded...
