In the cutscene that starts the final fight with Saïx, when Riku protects Kairi from his claymore air blast and the magical shield comes up - Riku did that. Riku made the shield. He shows a couple times throughout the series that he can make guards and tries to protect both himself and others. He locks himself and Kairi out of the fight purposefully to protect her because he knows Saïx is a threat, and I fully believe that Saïx didn't make the shield as he just flat-out lacks the ability, because he lacks the want the protect himself. At no point does Saïx protect himself via magic - he can't.

Otherwise he would have shielded against Riku's dark fira before - but he didn't, he took it with his arms, facing it head on. Shielding his face.

Saïx doesn't know shielding magic because he's used to his body taking hits.

He so often forgot that Isa’s regret was literally written into his skin, his history evident on his face. He found himself captured by the man’s eyes so often that the scar was almost invisible.

I post art here routinely as and when I do personal work. I get quite a few nsfw commissions that I don't post on here, because tumblr, but I try to put up my sfw stuff when I can. I also link my fanfic stuff here when new chapters come out, for those that are into my Stardew Valley content.

I'm currently taking an extended hiatus from vgstims - as in, I'm unlikely to make any gifs or stimboards for some time, but if I see relevant stimmy game content or interesting links I may reblog stuff there from time to time. 2020 got me super burnt out regarding stim stuff and I'm finding it tricky to manage my time at the moment, between a new job, a side job doing digital art, and running an etsy store for physical art things alongside real-life stuff. I'd like to get back into stim content when I feel up to it, but realistically right now it's going to be a while before I'm super super active there.

However I get a steady amount of reblogs and interest there - it certainly gives me a mental boost and I am very tempted to start being more attentive to it. People certainly seemed to enjoy my stimboards and I do miss making them; time just keeps escapign me at the moment and my irl job and paying customers have priority over my time ^^;;;;; Maybe I just need to find a really good handful of subjects for some fun boards for me to get enough oomph and get back into it - I feel really bad that I've been ignoring requests for so long. If you guys have sent in a request over the last year, I have seen it and I promise I will get to it once I have the headspace for it, I swear!!
