i'm trying so fucking hard to schedule a doctor's appointment. i assumed the clinic opened at 8am (they don't) and tried calling before i left for work. didn't reach anyone. sighed and said to myself "i'll call while i'm at work." i got to work. waited til 9am (when the clinic opens) and now for some reason when i try to call, it keeps dropping/disconnecting before i can even get a dial tone >:T

fuck it. i'll call after my dentist appointment tomorrow morning.

update it seems this literally only happens if you romanced astarion. i've only seen this reported with astarion romances and every other romance seems to work fine, she goes off alone

something i actually just realized on call w some friends recently is how crazey it is that your online friends are as many as thousands of feet above or below u right now. like if you teleported to their location without changing your height above sea level, well your fucked in some way basically

really humiliating trying to write horror like they went into the creepy house and there was a creepy ghost and the creepy guy with a creepy knife and everything was very creepy are you scared yet and thats like literally not how suspense and tension actually work but like all u can do is say well maybe something else was creepy?

Avoidance is the worst reaction to stress. Oh this thing is giving me anxiety? And it's something I could prepare for by looking at it more or learning things about the topic? No, I will take psychological damage if I look at it directly. I will still be thinking about it and be stressed though.
