Lloyd - Medicine/Political Science

To me, Lloyd strikes me as either a nursing or pharmaceutical student, idk sum abt their dead eyes and bone deep exhaustion speaks to me. Oh and also bcs Lloyd is probably super used to all sorts of stress and lack of rest he probably thinks nursing aint so bad. I can picture him muttering like names of important medicines and stuff under his breath for a test

As for PoliSci, i imagine in this au that Garmadon is some sort of failed politician, and in a roundabout way, Lloyd wants to be nothing like him and yet finds himself drawn to the same field. Whether it be promising to change how things are done or wtv, I think he'd try and make things right. Esp if it's movie verse lloyd.

Cole - N/A

I dont think Cole would go to Uni or college ngl. I feel like he'd be a blue collar worker that makes decent money. I could see him running a construction company maybe (totally not bcs of that one clip of him, what?) Idk, sum hands on.

Nya - Engineering

Are we surprised guys. She's literally the inventor of the team (barring Zane and like Jay (and Pixal)). But i think she'd go into Mechatronics. I think Nya would LOVEEEEE mechatronics, and thrive too. She also probably joined a robotics club.

I could see her doing a minor in law tho, for the funsies.

Jay - Engineering/Business

Like, okay, Im like dead certain in earlier seasons he was an inventor too. I imagine he and Nya met in Orientation! He probably went into mechanical engineering.

I could possibly be swayed into him doing a business course instead tho. With the like gameshow, the whole thing in prime empire and like Rogue in DR. Mayhaps.

He would probably also join the robotics club.

Kai - Teaching

Okay ik that lloyd has his whole sensei lloyd thing going on rn but Kai has been put in a mentor role time and time again throughout the series. When Lloyd first became the Green ninja, when all the ninja had that brief teaching stint in season 3(?), after seabound (I THINK). Like, time and time again he's been put in a teaching position and TIME AND TIME AGAIN he's shown to thrive. And i feel like he'd genuinely love being allowed to nurture these kids in a way that he (and Lloyd) didn't get. It would give him a really deep sense of purpose that i think he would adore.

Yes this is me pushing my sensei kai agenda, bite me.

Zane - Communications

Okay ik the typical consensus is that he's probably also an engineering student or maybe CompSci HOWEVER i feel like he'd enjoy a communications course more. Like, not to diss on the IT courses, but communications are a lot more "human" in the sense they deal with people more and i feel like he'd like that. Seeing as his whole thing is the fact he's more than a machine, i feel like it's a bit cruel to make him an engineering student in light of that. And generally i cant see him voluntarily doing engineering or compSci (sorry guys). He'd probably join the robotics club tho.

Pixal - architecture/hospitality

Double major. She is one high achieving motherfucker.

No okay okay hear me out. I feel like pixal would like the tedious work of all the calculations and shit, and like at first i figured "oh she's probably another engineer bcs we've seen that she does indeed like to invent shit but it feels more like a past time than anything else, ya dig? She'd probably be a part of the robotics club that Nya, Jay and Zane are in. But no i feel like her being an architecture dtudent just fits her overall vibe and the hospitality thing is mostly bcs i remembered that she was Mr. Borg's assistant before she became her own character.

The Justice League are losing their minds right now.

When JLD came up saying that a new Ghost King was crowned, they wanted to do a threat assessment despite Constantine's objections. So they did the usual summoning ... but what they were not prepared for, is how tedious it is to summon the Ghost King.

First they needed MONEY to get some kind of Ecto-Crystals which eerily look like Kryptonite - and then draw up ANOTHER Summoning Circle, because the first Circle is used to 'buy' Ecto-Crystals, and then use the Crystals to Summon the Ghost King.

Except that's not what happens.

The circle glows blue, and they are ready to do a threat assessment ... only for a bunch of junk to drop into the circle. And a single note to appear, as Batman picks it up and read - "You got junk. Roll again?"

The Young Justice instantly clock this as a GACHA GAME.

And now the Justice League have been trying to get the Ghost King for the past MONTH and they keep either getting junk, 4-Star Items and Ghosts - the most annoying one calling himself the Box Ghost - and by the time they get an actual 5-Star ...

It's not even the Ghost King.

It's one of the ANCIENTS and even they know about the Gacha Roll and are having fun with it, much to the Justice League's growing headache.

And now, it's been 3 months and even Superman can see Batman slowly losing his mind to the stupid Gacha Game.

Taran knows deep down that Prowl is irreplaceable. Prowl is doing like 3 administration jobs at once.

Matryoshka Prowl AU go

That would mean the original Prowl was much more decent guy and then he died and every new "Prowl" would corrupt his image more and more until it became unrecognizable.

*Eats the pickle* I think in terms of fandom experience IDW Prowl is the worst Prowl out there. He got the Earthspark Starscream treatment at least two times. You can't really discuss his character development because it develops in new direction every week (exaggeration. But still.)

His villain ark would be a lot better if all the writers talked to each other at least once and agreed on how to write him. Sins of the Wreckers Prowl has one personality and literally one day later he shows up in the finale of mtmte and it's a completely different guy.

Sometimes he is serious and logical but still kind and sometimes he is straight up an asshole who makes jokes about his people being tortured and this change of behavior is impossible to discuss or understand because the writers clearly didn't discuss or understand it either.

Every time I see someone go "I love him look at him caring for his friends" I think yeah that tracks. And every time someone goes "I fucking hate that cop he doesn't care about his actions affecting everyone involved" I also think that. Yeah. That tracks too. Can't defend him. What a dick.

IDW Prowl is a writing disaster haha

Therefore. It is impossible to navigate the fandom without seeing someone hating on him and then seeing other people complaining about the haters.

I can imagine the best Prowl in terms of fandom experience would be Animated but I don't really go there so I don't know haha

Ik i posted the first one in the community blog thing but I don't like how my posts dont show up on my profile so im doing it the old fashioned way.

Ik I mentioned Keith is an Enyo kid, reason being: he seems very much like someone who would be tempted (or would?) Join Luke, as a child of a minor god himself. He'd have to be used to sleeping on the ground, he'd probably look at his friends and think: "they deserve more."

I also had the passing thought of: what if KEITH was the Aphrodite kid. Because, well, Keith cares a lot, he loves hard. The man has love spilling out of his fucking ears, if you know where to look. (I also just want an excuse to let Keith be really pretty) but figured it doesn't fit his character enough compared to Lance.

(Sidenote but I like to think Hestia becomes his patron, as a compromise.)

Him being an Enyo kid, i feel like gives him a genuinely really compelling story route. I suppose, you could compare it to Ethan Nakamura.

Much like his original self, he leaves the main cast for another. For this au, he joins Luke at some point, desiring a better fate for his friends. Of course, he comes back to them eventually, much to their joy and wariness in equal measure. (Also im really sorry if my thoughts arent cohesive/makes sense, im in the middle of a lecture half listening rn)
