sometimes it just hits me how cool nya is because ?? even during earlier ninjago when she was just seen as the girl of the group that couldn't be included she spent her time making samurai X and protecting ninjago like that even before ever discovering she was an elemental master ?? the AMOUNT of knowledge and physical work needed to create the things she did and she somehow did it so young ? jay did as well, i mean he was inventing before he became a ninja as well, but oh my god ??

Cole and Nya’s reunion is so sweet and mudshock-y, with the tender hand on cheek and them checking to see if the other had seen Jay.

So I’m thinking… is Nya the first flesh and blood (sorry Bonzle) woman Geo has ever seen? Imagine Cole’s boyfriend meeting Cole’s girlfriend (or boyfriend’s girlfriend, but I like my mudshock all romantic) and being like “holy crap WOMEN.”

everyone loves RGB siblings (real so do I) but i've seen people say that fans of the trio tend to just focus on Kai and Lloyd's relationship while ignoring Nya. idk if that's true or not. but if it is, that sucks bad bc Nya is my fav out of the trio and my ninjago fav overall. she's so perfect and I hate that she could ever be ignored/disliked. i don't think there's been a single moment in the show where she hasn't been peak. she's so goated that she SINGLEHANDEDLY clutched skybound; her arc and character were the only good parts in the entire damn season; everything/everyone else in skybound was genuinely asscrap i'm sorry, but she was so peak that she somehow managed to make it one of my favorite seasons anyway. she might have carried SOG and hunted too ngl... she had ONE relevant scene in SOG (the scene with harumi and the hot rock/anger metaphor) and those five minutes were the best part of the entire season; and in hunted oh LORD was she goated; she went through so much pain yet still put others before herself, and dude if i'd just lost my brother and boyfriend and like everyone i loved and i had to listen to lloyd whining about his daddy issues for a whole season i would have crashed out; nya does NOT get enough credit for how patient she was (such good character development from how snappy and impatient she was in possession). if i were to completely cover all the reasons that she's the goat it would take months.

also, let's be real i think if they were in danger nya would save kai over lloyd and vice versa. they really do love lloyd but the love they have for each other is just so strong, and they're literally BIOLOGICAL siblings blood is thicker than water i'm sorry.

personally MY duo in the RGB trio is Nya and Lloyd. maybe it's partly because Kai doesn't interest me as much as the other two (he's still peak though), but the GB friendship is SO precious to me. i know the popular headcanon is that lloyd considers kai his best friend but I think it's Nya. after what they went through together in hunted, the way they understood one another's pain in a way none of the other members of the resistance did; after that experience I think they developed a bond that Lloyd doesn't have with any of the other ninja. i have a headcanon that Lloyd once had a small ONE-SIDED crush on her but grew out of it.

PEAKya is the real goat of ninjago this is my truth and message to all of you amen

Love the potential of there being nuance to how elemental powers work due to their nature.

One would think working with pre-existing ice would be easier than creating it but Zane finds reshaping or moving it to be much harder. It's easier to create new ice, to make it with the shape and direction he had in mind rather than force what already is to be something different.

Nya finds it easier when she has to will the water to move than to stay. Bringing up a tidal wave is a piece of cake. Holding that wave in place, in a position it is not meant to be in, forcing it into stagnancy no matter how temporary is harder.

For Jay working with already-present electricity is tricky. Most modern technology uses AC or DC but lightning is neither. If he needs to power something, he needs to function as both a source and a rectifier.

The smaller the easier? Not for Morro. A hurricane, a storm is easier to summon, for that is what the initial state of wind in this realm was in times of Wojira, and it's a reflection of his internal state too. To lift a building is easier than to move only a single page of an open book.
