y’all ever think the colors on both Lloyd and Nya’s gis are symbolic?
like, Nya starts out with a red gi with blue highlights, and as her character develops it turns more primarily blue. Later in the series her gi is gray with blue highlights. The red represents Kai, the blue represents Jay, and the gray represents herself.
Lloyd’s is more difficult. If you pay attention, you’ll notice that his suit consists of two main colors, green and gold. Through out the series, the style changes showing either more gold or less gold. A theory I have on this is that, since his elemental power thrives on connects, the green represents thriving or new connections, and the gold represents broken, damaged, or lost connections. just some stuff to think abt
