They forget appointments and anniversaries, but remember what you wore, how you smelled, on your first date… They remember every story you’ve ever told them - like ever, but forget what you’ve just said. They don’t remember to water the plants or take out the trash, but they don’t forget how to make you laugh. Writers are forgetful because they’re busy remembering the important things.

If your girlfriend makes you insecure about your appearance, she is not good for you.

If your girlfriend hits or slaps you out of anger, she is not good for you.

If your girlfriend makes you feel that you are beneath her, she is not good for you.

If your girlfriend pressures you into sex acts you don’t want to do and say you don’t want to do, she is not good for you.

If your girlfriend makes common sexist jokes against men but takes offense at jokes against women, she’s a hypocrite.  She’s also not good for you.

If your girlfriend makes you afraid of making her mad, she’s not good for you.

If your girlfriend tampers with her birth control or protection and doesn’t tell you, she’s not good for you.
