Fallout New California really popped off with the 200 year old bounty hunter mutant lady with lizard legs and glowing eyes who researches her goals by talking to randos on a (fake) NCR dating website (but also seems to genuinely be looking for some kind of companionship). She can clone herself and sometimes becomes a man. She is also her own brother and two of her enemies. Shame about the white dreads though
remembering when fallout 4 came out and a lot of people were like "it's bullshit that my character has to be in a straight marriage to start with, I'm gay" whereas my takeaway was "this straight marriage and suburban home are a good start, but they should feel way more like a fucking prison"

if you play as a dude there should be an entire sidequest where preston garvey tries to explain why it's bad to murder civilians (if your intelligence is too high, he fails, because you're too good at coming up with a philosophical framework that justifies war crimes). if you play as a woman then putting on pants for the first time should have the same gameplay effect as taking buffout

I think the weirdest form of fatphobia I keep bumping into is writers suddenly becoming deeply concerned with physical realism when a fat character is involved even in contexts where everybody's physical capabilities are explicitly bullshit. "They're fat, it wouldn't make sense for them to have super speed" and it would make sense for the 98-pound twink to be able to run at Mach Fuck? That's something skinny people can do in real life, is it?
