Life is not a journey

Late on this. The last two weeks have been hell at work.

I have consistently gone up on my deadlift though. Hit a PR of 200lbs yesterday 🥳

Bench is sitting at 85lbs 🥴

I tried vanilla isopure today and my stomach immediately said no. I don’t think I’ve ever had such a fast reaction to a food/supplement.

I have consumed nothing new except that so that was definitely it. I don’t leave my house or see people so I don’t see how I could just suddenly have a stomach bug.

Proud and happy I got two additional strength workouts in last week.

I’ve been so preoccupied with work and wedding planning that working out and tracking and cooking at home has become second nature and not a second thought.

I’m very happy about that. I’ve been feeling quite good and sleeping way better.

I hope to keep this up for the rest of the year. I feel like the winter time is where I always struggle to keep up with good habits. Last year the first 3 quarters went well. In the 4th I got stressed at work, stopped moving, continued eating out, and gained all the weight back.

We initially bought save the dates with the matching printed envelopes from The Knot. That was great, very pretty.

But now we're ordering the invitations and rsvps and I'm like...can I print these envelopes myself. Instead of paying another $60+ for printed envelopes. (I know, it's only $60 but I still would rather not. The invitations, rsvps, and save the dates were roughly $470....but you live and you learn).

So anyway, yes. I can print these envelopes myself. I have a Brother laser printer that is a lifesaver. Best purchase hands down.

I just did a few tests on some leftover envelopes from the save the dates and it looks exactly the same.

However I have a newfound appreciation for my face and skin. I love it when it’s bare. 😌
