there’s an art to life’s distractions

“Season 2, Claudia dies, which is pretty devastating, but I would say yeah,” Reid said in response to Anderson’s answer. Reid spoke as if he could barely believe what he was saying, the same vibe as Anderson. “It’s more devastating, in a way, because it’s like we’ve been stabbed, and then the knife’s still in there, and now it’s just getting twisted. It’s twisted and twisted,” Reid added. “Wounds aren’t necessarily healing. They’re just getting bigger and more bloody.”

While there might not be a whole lot to offer here, I still like to say something about the placement of these characters and where they standing, since a bit of seems a little intentional.

-Again, they put Tony and Declan on the opposite sides, definitely making sure the rivalry is present and very much there to bite everyone’s necks off.

-Right behind Tony is Monica and Paul Stratton. I’m still curious on how Monica will return since we saw her expectedly leave Tony but she is coming back, which I could see her trying to do it on her terms or the necessity to keep up with profile image. Paul though…we do see him in the trailer speaking with Tony in a secluded places—could be working with one another.

-and of course, you can’t mention Paul Stratton without Sarah. We do find out she is pregnant and MOST LIKELY James Verker could be the father (shocker omg please be sarcastic with me). There could be a lot going on for Sarah though since we see her in the trailer having her own show that could’ve been similar to Declan’s old show, as well being distraught in a short clip. We see how badly the mistreatment goes for the women in television working environments and Sarah could be visible in this spot. She seems quite serious in this photo and I think there’s definitely more coming to her character (please be safe girl).

-We see James is behind her (quite looming from behind in a way) and a couple inches away is Lizzie, and she seems to be occupied looking none other than Freddie Jones—who is looking into her direction. I can’t say much but GOD THEY ARE SO CUTE LET THEM CHEAT FREELY.

-I think it’s funny they put James and Valerie since they are the spouses to them. Maybe confrontation? Or trying to conceal the relationship?

-Right along we finally see Cameron, Rupert, and Taggie pretty close to each other. I’ve been thinking sort of the relationship and dynamic, specifically with Cameron and Rupert. I always felt the two couldn’t have possible real feelings, especially when it comes to Rupert. But rewatching I think it’s hard to say they didn’t have ANY at all. I can see them have feelings and Cameron to have take the falling for him. She seem to be content with Rupert a lot more than with Tony (which btw rip). I can see these two playing out and having this interesting dynamic, buuuuuut…

-Taggie will always be there!! While there could be possibility of him pushing her away out of his insecurities or fear of not hurting the one person who he might actually truly love—it means Taggie will always haunts him. I don’t wanna say this is love triangle but it does play a bit for it. It could be Rupert facing his predicament that he isn’t just some foolish rake and needs to understand that Taggie does matter a whole to him…and only way he would understand is through the unimaginable angst lol.

-Speaking of Taggie, she has Basil behind her and I love this too (looming over another character). He seems to gonna play role in her love life and letting her experiment with her life. Letting herself loose and enjoying that she can have strong confidence just on her own. Which she definitely needs, Maude was horrible to her and my girl deserves a drink and party. Let loose girl.

-look, everyone got their own thoughts of Maude. Surprisingly I don’t have a very clear opinion on her since I still feel conflicted. All we know is that Maude is gonna be tie along with Tony and there is tensions for however Tony is gonna make her do. Tony is using any imaginable piece of someone’s personal life to ridicule, spit on, and even burn it if he really needs to. I still think Declan wants Maude but I’m really balling this one since I’m not so sure how this could go.
