I’ve been working on perfecting my plates lately. Being a potter and a perfectionist has its challenges. I have to choose my battles and remind myself that making pottery is a lot like life and rarely do things happen perfectly but that’s what makes it exciting and beautiful. 💖

I’m so glad I found some ways to use this “caramel espresso” glaze. It’s so drippy that it will hit the kiln shelf during firing if I use it alone. But it looks amazing under my white as well as over the top of the “suede marsh” glaze. #happyme #glazetest #budvase #valflynnpots #springblooms
