You know, it’s always strange when I get asks like this, because it reminds me that, for many of my followers, I’m not a real person, but rather exist solely as a tool for their entertainment. After all, it would be wildly inappropriate to yell this at someone in real life, but anon seems to have no compunction about yelling it at me digitally. And the only reason I can think of that someone would act like that is because, in their heart, they truly don’t understand that I am an actual person.

Whereas I strive to be a decent human being;

Whereas I am entitled to expect that other people will respect my own boundaries and limits;

Whereas I want to foster a safe and respectful society;

Be it resolved that I will not be a fucking creep to people on the internet.

Be it further resolved that nobody wants or deserves fucking creepy behavior. Not even if they’re an icon. Not even if I have a crush on them. Not even if they’re cringy. Not even if they’re bad people.

Be it further resolved that, if I do something fucking creepy, I will do everything in my power to make amends to the people affected. Yes, even if it’s hard. Yes, even if it’s embarrassing.

Be it further resolved that, if I do something fucking creepy, the people affected are entitled to be angry at me about my creepiness. Yes, even if it was an accident. Yes, even if I don’t think it was a big deal. Yes, even if their anger hurts my feelings.

Be it further resolved that, if someone in my friendgroup or community is being a fucking creep, I will insist that they change their behavior and that I will cease to associate with them if they fail to do so. Yes, even if I like them. Yes, even of they’re a good person deep down. Yes, even if the people they were being creepy to are weird, annoying or wrong.
