NEEDđTHATđMANđPREGNANT *SEASON TWO* ROUND 5 POLL 1
TUMBLR! Who's getting pregnant?
Stanley 'Stan' Pines (Gravity Falls)
Bruce Wayne/Batman (DC)
PROPAGANDA:
[Stan]
"It would be funny if the twin of the winner won."
"He would be an amazing dad, even though at first he is gruff and a bit reckless, you can see as the series goes on, how deeply he loves and cares for the people closest to him, he would do anything for his family, and he would be the most dedicated dad out there."
"Gotta get both twins knocked up."
"why should Ford have all the fun? also Stan would be a WAY better dad than Ford."
"HED BE SUCH A SINGLE DAD I NEED HIM PREGNANT AND STRUGGLING WITH A BABY AND RAISING HER THE BEST HE CAN AND SOMETIMES FAILING BUT OVER ALL MAKING IT WORK I CAN PICTURE HIM USING HIS PREGNANT BELLY AS AN ICECREAM TABLE WHILE HE WATCHES DUCKTECTIVE AND PERIOD DRAMAS."
"He's the sexier more breedable brother to me but also I just think it'd be funny if he won the second time around since Ford won the first one :)"
Grunkle Stan propaganda from last season
[Bruce]
"He already has so many kids, its time to let him make some himself."
"He has so many kids already, he should birth one."
"He's already had so many kids come to him as pre-teens or teens, often with parents before him that he needs to "compete" with for his position as their parent, so it would be nice to have him not have that pressure for once. Also, whenever one of his partners turns out to be pregnant he tends to be very excited about it, and he's often shown to be very soft and kind to babies and small children, so it'd be nice to finally give him a baby of his own. And considering the fact that there's more than one storyline with one of Bruce's lovers being pregnant and leaving and then hiding/giving the baby away for adoption, him being the one who's pregnant would keep that from happening again. In conclusion, he's got kids, loves babies, is already a single parent, give the man a baby of his own!!"
"It's been a while since he adopted a kid, maybe his next one can be home grown."
"He's due another child. Pregnant Batman would probably have to take good care of his health."
"Just look at him. Plus, he'd be a wonderful mother."
"This guy is already a dad of like a million robins, so it's about time he made some himself."
"look at him. this man loves kids so much. he loves his kids so much, you know he wishes he could have birthed them himself. getting pregnant would fix him."
"I mean look at him. He has so many kids he was made to be a mother."
Batman Propaganda!!!
(all from Batman: Failsafe (Batman 2016 #125-130))
Look at him, he just wants his kids to be okay and he will come to help them (come hell or high water)
STAN PRACTICE!!!!!!
Hi... i really like the pear soda taste test saga... i why the name? Whatever its really really great! I cant wait to see more!!!!!!!
So im a bit embarrased
I drew the boysđ
I didnt even know what a duke was specifically so i translated it AFTER I ALREADY DREW THE PICTURE and damnn i underdressed Stan. And Jimmy is in his off duty outfit.
I really hope Shanklin doesnt put this into the spam folder
Context
Okay, okay.
Let's be reasonable and normal about this, because after you send me this - and I promise I am not lying - I spend a whole hour screaming into my pillow and mumbling to myself "He is so hot.".
Edit: I still am...
I want to cry. They look absolutely perfect.
I'm getting so emotional over Stan's expression here. It's like you grabbed him out of my head and send him back to me.
My writing is unworthy. I don't know how you managed to decipher it so well to draw this. It's too good!!!
There is so much pain in there. He hurts me. All dressed up and way too thin. The Duchess' perfect doll.
He really does need that cheeseburger đ
More breaking down and blubbering over the art and one Pear Soda AU name explaination under the cut
Yeah youre right i should draw him kneeling:D
Not me giggling over the insanity i caused. Also i hurt myself drawing Stanny boy like this.
Stan did say the duchess approoves was just like his life. And we all know hes a trustworthy guy also that his life is tragic. So here we are

Okay hear me out... Combine the conservatorship au with puppy!stan au đ
So like what im imagining is the puppy mentality affecting Stan a lot more than just during full moons and it seeps into his human life, he finds himself having these episodes, getting all exciteable, his ability to read people and understand personal space depleating considerably. Or maybe the word becomes too big and confusing for him and he gets aggressive, you know like how little puppies get defensive when theyre confused.
Ford is called and is put into the conservatorship with stanley, who insists he's fine and doesnt need help, all while clinging to stanfords arm because he's finally with someone he trusts and cant bring himself to tear away, puppy logic, idk. I feel like ford would find it far easier to believe stan after a week or so, since the full moon would reveal stan's puppy form and all that strange childish behaviour starts making sense.
Ty for listening to my drabble i love ur works! đ
RIP to Stan, being turned into a baby werewolf has given him Puppy Brain đ
Interesting if the conservatorship happens solely because Stanâs new wolf pup instincts alter his human mind too, and not because of any sort of trauma. I do think heâd be happier to be with Ford because thatâs pack!! Even if heâs a little annoyed that all these people think heâs incompetent and needs a guardian.
Puppy doesnât do well alone. Wolves are social animals, so being with Ford is much better than being on his own!
Ford is quite put off by Stanâs new strange behaviours because they are constant. Stanâs just Like That now, and will be until his wolf form grows up. But I agree that after the first full moon, Ford totally believes Stan and suddenly understands why Stan is the way he is now. Ford would be fascinated and thrilled to have a werewolf he can study, especially one thatâs a puppy. He can take detailed notes about werewolf growth and development as Stanâs wolf form gets older!
Ford would have an easier time dealing with puppy brained Stan, because he at least knows why Stan is that way, and can work out how to help Stan. In regular conservatorship au, Ford has a difficult time because he doesnât understand why Stan age regresses and what happened, or how to help Stan. A werewolf? Ford can deal with. Extreme mental health issues? Ford is floundering.
Now a werewolf puppy Stan conservatorship where Stan is both affected by his puppy brain and has crazy trauma and mental issues? What a combo đ
âď¸erm... If I mayâ
Stan affected by puppy brain BECAUSE of trauma. Ford meets other werewolves for help and theyre all "what? Thats not normal"
I imagine Ford would go from excited, happy that finally there's someone to help but as soon as he finds out it's NOT normal for Stan to act young as a human, he becomes fustrated easily. Which is funny cosidering he's supposed to like what is abnormal bur suddenly he doesn't like it because it's Stan :)
Stan will age regress but because he is a werewolf his puppy likeness seeps into it. Or maybe a young stan was always very puppy like, who knows!
Maybe Ford reaches a point where he becomes so tired because its a constant with this Stan (Ford keeps triggering him) so he tries stimulate a fake full moon to keep stan as an actual puppy longer since hes more manageable like that. Its easier to be more patient with an adorable pupper than a grown man, afterall.
Being big brained I see đ
Poor Stan having his brother do a 180 on him. Ford treating him patiently when he thinks itâs a normal werewolf thing and then suddenly becoming frustrated after learning itâs not normal.
Puppy Stan doesnât understand why his brother doesnât want to play with him anymore :( Ford would play with him even in human form because he thought it was good for Stanâs wolf development, and now he wonât play! He keeps shoving Stan away and snapping at him! :(
Ford wonders if Stan was playing a prank on him this entire time, pretending to be affected by his wolf puppy instincts as a human. Making Ford do silly things and probably laughing behind his back the entire time!
He locks himself up in his study (Stan is a grown man who can take care of himself!) and ignores Stan. Stan comes to his door and whines to be let in. Ford ignores him. Stan whines more. Ford ignores him. Stan keeps whining, sounding like a puppy while in the form of a man. Ford gets pissed off and throws the door open to yell at Stan.
Stan runs away with his (currently metaphorical) tail between his legs, scared and hurt and not understanding why pack brother is so angry with him now. He just cries about it sadly :(
Of course Ford would decide that something like simulating a full moon (likely not an easy feat by any means) is a better option than trying to deal with whatever is going on with Stan đ Then after some sleep and a while of only having the wolf puppy to deal with, Ford realizes heâs wrong and what heâs doing might be cruel to Stan.
He holds puppy Stan and cries apologies to him while puppy tries to lick his face to comfort him :)
SOBBING!!!
How could Ford do that to Stan sob sob I'd cave so quick at hearing those whines NOOOOO
Since puppy stan is probably more of an outside dog (homeless) do you think he'd try run away like little kids usually try? I mean- clearly even pack Ford had enough of him, everyone usually does, but maybe he has it in his head to be pouty and run or he thinks something (money....maybe a million dollars) will fix it.
Cue Ford getting rhe scare of his life and running around trying to find his brother while imagining Hawks picking up the small pupper and other anomalies eating him alive. He yells at Stan when he finds him of course because how stupid can he be? (He was so scared).
Stan is incredibly difficult to drag back, he is childish enough to throw his weight down so Ford cant, so once again Ford turns him into a puppy without the actual full moon and ignores how his too little fangs try bite at him.
@babyblankyerror Stan would try to run away if he thought he was no longer wanted đ Hurts too much to stay somewhere thereâs no love. Better to leave on his own than wait to be thrown out again.
But because Stan is just a Little Puppy Guy now, he doesnât have the mature reasoning on where to go and what to do :( He knows he survived on his own before, but since he got turned into a werewolf puppy the world feels bigger and scarier.
So he just runs off into the woods. Not a smart thing to do, but little puppy brain isnât thinking logically. He doesnât know where heâs going or what heâs going to do, but he knows heâs not wanted anymore.
Meanwhile when Ford realizes Stan is missing he has a minor heart attack. Sure Stan in his human form might be fine, but what about when he inevitably turns into a puppy again on the next full moon? Heâs tiny and vulnerable and an easy target for so many things! Time to go find his puppy brother and scold him for doing something so stupid like running away!
Ford kind of expects Stan to be happy he searched for him, and explain heâs bringing Stan back and Stan will come. Does not go to plan when Stan is upset at seeing him and refuses to come with him. Will not explain himself to Ford but will throw a tantrum about it and sit in the dirt.
Good thing Ford has already discovered a solution for this! Itâs puppy time! :)
Ford gets better about it all eventually, but unlike in regular conservatorship au, in puppy version, Ford has no idea why Stan is the way he is. The government didnât officially make him a conservator and thereâs no psychiatrists to mention things like ptsd and age regression, so Ford is just clueless for a long time. Stan canât tell him whatâs wrong, so Ford just assumes that something went weird with Stanâs werewolf transformation, resulting in him being childlike and puppy like even in his human form.
And puppy Stan doesnât have episodes the way conservator Stan does, puppy Stan is just basically A Little Guy all the time. So with no idea on what happened and why Stan is like this, Ford just accepts that it is how it is. He hopes maybe Stan will mature mentally as his wolf form grows up.
But he canât fathom leaving his brother to fend for himself. And even if Stanâs childish behaviour annoys him sometimes, the idea of Stan being on his own like this worries Ford. So Stan gets to stay. Ford apologizes for hurting his feelings and becomes Stanâs unofficial caretaker.
Itâs not until later down the road, when Stanâs wolf form starts growing up but Stanâs mental state remains childish, that Ford gets more concerned about whatâs going on, and more determined to figure out how to help Stan.
I have a lot of things that I just can't resist. And Car/House Enemies/Lovers just became one of that list.
So, hehe, @shanklin please accept this whatever that is. I will not accept any blame because I like crack ships. (Inspired by that)

âBury it where no one can find it!â
Stan listens and takes the journal, and decides to do the first worthwhile thing in his life. There is no I.D on him at his death, only a note that requests the journal be taken with him to the grave.
Stanley Pines is laid to rest nameless, in a random cemetery in a random town that has no meaning to him. The journal is put in the casket with him.
True to his word, Stan buries his brotherâs journal where no one will find it.
Thinking... Think that Ford, after getting better and banning Bill from his mind. He wants to see his brother again.nmaybe to even apologize for such rashness and explain on his part,n how it was a life or dest situation. But he asks his ma, and she hasn't received calls from in months/years. And it devolves from there
He puts everything into research, missing posters, going to gas stations within a 50 mile radius and showing a picture of his brother (it's hard to do that, having no picture of his disheveled brother, and he even tries to draw him from memory...did he always look that skinny????)
He eventually settles on the mailbox, and he asks 'wheres my brother's and the mailbox responds with said town, and he goes almost immediately. And he looks everywhere.
But he can't find him
Ouogh yeah. Imagine Ford tries tracking spells, but he doesnât have anything of Stanâs to use for the spell, and using his own DNA doesnât get him any results. It strikes him then how he has nothing of Stan except old pictures of their childhood. He knows nothing of the man Stan became beyond that one night where he saw him, gave him the journal, and sent him away again.
So Ford throws himself into more research, trying to find Stan, or even a hint of him. Itâs hard to get anything, because Stan used so many different names and identities. (And why, Ford wonders, did his brother need so many?)
Eventually he goes to the mailbox and looks where it says, but he canât find him. So Ford goes back to the mailbox, demanding why it lied. Asks for more details.
The mailbox tells him his brother fulfilled Fordâs wishes, and buried the journal where no one would find it.
And himself along with it.
Something to consider is that being buried nameless isn't that common. Usually an unknown Doe would be left in an mortuary for a bit while any kin were searched for and then they'd be cremated. Someone cared to pay for a plot. Someone cared to have some kind of plaque, but regardless some one read that note and cared enough to respect a strangers last wishes.
I imagine after years of searching Ford finds this random town but narrowing down a grave is difficult. Folks tell him there's only one person who would have cared enough to do something like that and he goes to them, begging to know which grave belongs to his brother.
"please, I just need to know where he is"
They're rocking in an old porch chair, cigarettes littering the ground around them and they take a hard look at Ford. And they think back to that note, that letter with all that unknown mans sad apologies and a last pleading wish to be buried with the journal. They have it in a box with all their other important things, things that they never want to forget. "He didn't even sign his name on that note he left. I think that says more about you than it does about him."
And they go back inside, leaving ford with no answers.
See my thinking had gone âwhat if Stan dug his own grave and made his own grave marker so that his grave couldnât be foundâ which I dismissed with ânah because who would bury him? He canât put the dirt back on top of himselfâ
Then âwhat if Stan really did travel to the ends of the earth and just died somewhere far away from civilization and some random person found his body and decided to give him dignity bury him right there?â which. Nah that wouldnât work well either.
To âwhat if he died in a town and left a note so theyâd bury him with the journalâ which I thought. Mmm usually they just cremate John Does and do the bare minimum. But Iâll disregard that because I want him buried in a casket.
So I LOVE this idea of a mysterious benefactor. Fixes the plot holes I couldnât fill. Just someone with a good heart who has sympathy on this young man who had nothing but a note pleading for his last wishes to be honoured.
Maybe this person is an older man or woman who is the first to have found Stanâs body. After notifying police, their heart goes out to Stan. When he isnât claimed by any family, they take him and treat him like he was their own son, providing a casket and a plot and a gravestone. Making sure his last wishes are honoured.
So of course this person has some judgement about Ford when he eventually comes around. Doesnât he know itâs been years? He never bothered showing up when his brother first passed. He wasnât there for the funeral they held for his brother, being the only person there, and not even knowing this young manâs name but still saying a few words over him as he was laid to rest.
They refuse to tell Ford. And Ford gets angry.
Really itâs guilt he feels, guilt and a deep mourning. But itâs easier to be angry than sad, so Ford directs all his feelings into a cold fury at this person who wonât tell him his brotherâs grave.
And then Ford goes into the cemetery at night and decides to dig up every unmarked, nameless, John Doe there until he finds his brother. Stan was buried with the journal, after all. So if Ford finds the journal heâll know that body is Stanâs, regardless of how decayed it may or may not be.
Grave robber Ford basically lol. He refuses to leave Stan buried in a random town with no name, so he takes Stanâs body and casket and everything with him to bury Stan in a âproperâ grave in Gravity Falls.
They had been keeping their eye on that mystery science man who claimed to be that unknown man's brother. A little bit of digging and he found out Stanford Pines was some scientist with numerous accolades to his name. The sheriff told them that the guy was now suspected of grave robbing.
"What, Ed Gein style or summ'at?" They said.
"Naw, just messing around really. He ain't took nothing, matter 'a fact he leave the grave better than he found it."
So they resolved to drag their aching bones to the cemetery tonight.
You've got one weird brother there son. Though they chided themselves, after all this time they had a name to attached to that young boy that they just mentally dubbed 'son' and they should use it.
They didn't know why Stanford had bothered pestering all the graves of the unknown folk. Where was he when the sheriff was looking for that boy's family? Where was he when they took clothes outta their own closet so that poor boy had something nicer to wear before he was closed up in a casket? Where was this brother when the only person standing over a fresh grave was some old stranger and the town pastor?
They grumbled and cursed everything they could think of as they walked down to the cemetery (he planned to send a letter to the city about moving the parking closer because this was ridiculous).
"You keep this up an' they gonna send you to lock up," they said to Stanford Pines, who was chest deep in the grave of John Doe ?- 21 September 1984 Though Unknown We Hope You Rest Well and Have Found Peace.
Stanford screamed and whirled, wielding his shovel like a weapon.
"Real threatening there son, yer four foot deep in a six foot hole tryin' t' threaten a 79 year old," they said with an eye roll.
"You-!" Stanford growled but was easily pushed back by the cane pressing on his shoulder.
"I'm here t' tell you to quit it with this shit. Not a single one a' these unknown souls is yer brother."
"You could be lying. I don't have a single reason to trust you," he growled.
"Yeah? Me neither," they spat. The two stared at each other, a real standoff. It was actually kinda funny. Here was a young man, half in a grave, and some old fucker standing over him.
"Tell me about him," they said breaking the silence.
Stanford's face contorted in a vicious snarl, "You don't deserve to know anything about him."
They laughed, "yeah? Something tells me that I know more than you, and that you don't know shit." and they could see the words cut. They dug into their pocket and threw a tiny bundle that bounced off Stanfords chest and he scrambled for it.
"I bought it at the police auction, been keepin' it locked up. Once you understand you come back and apologize and maybe I'll be generous enough t' tell you where his grave is."
Stanford Pines was never going to find that grave. One of the things about coming from a generation of farmers, lots of them got their own private family cemeteries.
They had spent much of their life tying toe tags on boys in 'Nam. Going through piles of paperwork to make sure each and every body they could retrieve got the chance to go home. And when no one came for that boy they couldn't help but think of all those bodies they couldn't bring home. Mothers, fathers, daughters, sons, brothers, and sisters who wailed for somebody, anybody please could they just bring their baby home? It was the final crack in their old soul, and they promised that cold body, if ain't nobody gonna bring you home, then sonny boy you've got one in me.
Maybe Stanford would understand what they did when they read that sad note. Maybe Stanford would understand why the journey of his life took his brother. That beat up red car told the story of a man unwritten. Told everything but his name sadly. It had been stripped of its plates but not the wear and tear. Hopefully Stanford would understand before they died and occupied the last empty plot on his family's cemetery.
I hope yer brother ain't as stubborn as you son.
AGGHHHHHH HURTS
Ford having beef with a 79 year old lol. At least theyâre pretty chill about his grave desecration. Though to be fair, Fordâs coming across as a grief stricken feral gremlin man so. Let him at it. He wonât find Stan anyway đđđ
And the car?? Giving Ford means to see Stanâs old car and the evidence of the life Stan had been living? Uuogh đ Imagine Ford coming to the conclusion that his sending Stan away was the last straw to break the camelâs back. He sent his brother to his death, and he canât deal with that knowledge well.
behold my animatic! a lot of time/blood/sweat/tears/sleep and coffee went into it!
