The one David d'Angers based on the portrait Élisabeth kept? The one that made her weep and therefore gets a special seal of approval?

Well @robespapier went to see it in person and made a shocking discovery.

Prepare to get your world turned upside down:

His hair is long in the back and kept in a plait.

You see a bit of it on the medallion though I never noticed:

I'm gonna go rethink everything now.

On the bright side this means the red ribbon style is now canon (though he'd probably use a blue one):

The world of possibilities this just opened.

Hard to believe it's been three years @robespapier and I noticed this detail and this post along with her post changed Saint-Just's previously established hairstyle representation across the fandom 😭 it's so wild 😭😭😭

Today is the day of the tilleul, so here's my town's liberty tree, planted in 1989 for the bicentennary of the Revolution, that also happens to be a tileul; a popular choice for liberty trees, like le tilleul de Pérouges, which is from 1792 !!

Only posting close up pictures, I don't want my town to be recognisable for privacy reasons.

I am sure there is some post on tumblr describing the statue of Convention nationale and concluding that it is not a portrait of Saint-Just, but of Hoche or Jourdan? I don't remember anymore. I can't find the post. Anyone help?
