So, when you see this reality, you would like to see either some equality (and Nessian are not equal) or just a man worshiping his woman (Cassian is also useless in this aspect), but a woman changing everything to become the better partner and a man just existing is not romantic for me.

And if you think by punishment I mean only about the hike, you are wrong. He punished Nesta since that dinner in MAF, in the bonus chapter he comes prepared with insults to a woman who did him nothing, in SF he punishes her with ignore when she falls on the stairs, he punishes her verbally when she dares to speak against Rhysand, the hike, all the times he left her after sex, that "shackled" scene was a punishment for not accepting the mating title.

He made zero attempt to save her from the blood rite, where she could've been raped, killed before she even wakes up, she could've been taken to a different place in general.

Because it sounds like Feyre & Rhys are holding court from the top of a mountain in a house that, famously, people EITHER have to walk up 10,000 steps to access OR fly to because winnowing and other magics are magically forbidden.

sooo cassian cant spend a special holiday with his people because rhysand believes that ever single illyrian treats cassian like shit? he has to order him around for family affairs?

and even if they dont fully respect him, who is he to stop cassian from trying to connect with his culture and bond with his people. just because rhys uses his illyrian heritage when it suits him doesn't mean cassian is abandoning that part of himself too.

then cassian thinks "Rhys wanted him home for the Solstice, and he’d obey" do they not see the problems with this?? hes seems fine to obey him but it's still weid that "obeying" is even brought up when it comes to ones own holiday plans.
