Isaac Frost, George Baxter. Muggletonians Two Systems of Astronomy. 1846.  

Isaac Frost was a scientist and prominent member of the Muggletonian sect in the mid 19th Century who was instrumental in the refinement of their astronomical theory, as represented on these prints which he designed. George Baxter was a London printer who developed and patented an unusual method of printing using oil pigments. 

This fascinating work outlines the Muggletonians rejection of Newtonian physics. The Prophets had stated that as part of their divine revelation that heaven was only six miles above the earth and that the sun and the moon are not much bigger than they appear to our natural sight. The Muggletonians took a very literal view of biblical statements, and especially statements from the Book of Enoch and demanded that these statements (as interpreted by them) should take precedence over what was claimed to be scientific fact.

Hippie culture is based entirely on the exotification of marginalised cultures.

Hippies have a fundamental misunderstanding of the pieces of the cultures that they use (I.e. Chakras, smudging, dreadlocks, etc.). The understanding that they have of these cultural aspects stems from racist interpretations of these cultures based on anthropology (which is still a very biased discipline), but at the time of the inception of the hippie movement, anthropology was still being used to show that other races were inferior to white people. Hippie culture takes bits and pieces of these cultures that they see as being “counter” the norm which is fundamentally racist because they see cultures of color as being outside the norm which further others people of color in a western context.

white hippies like to think they’re the least racist of all whites or even not racist at all because they travel to ~foreign lands and get to know the natives~ “embrace” dreadlocks, eastern religions and imagery; they think their appropriation of our cultures and history is acceptance when it couldn’t be further from it. the whole point of being a hippy is being “free”, a better and softer word for uncivilised which is what they ultimately consider us.

So why aren’t you talking about that? Why aren’t you talking about the fire bombs and pig heads being thrown at muslim men women and children?

And the Qur’an EXPLICITLY states that killing someone is evil and goes against Islam as a whole numerous times

Mughal Dagger

Dated: 17th - 18th century 

Culture: Indian

Medium: damask steel, rock crystal, gold, leather and precious stones

Measurements: overall lenght 33.7 cm

One of the interesting exhibits in the Hermitage is a dagger with a rock crystal handle embellished with a gold mesh of quatrefoil medallions. A ruby is set in the centre of each medallion. The shape of the blade is typical of 17th-century India, but it is undecorated. The crosspiece is set with small diamonds and rubies. The leather sheath in a gold cover was made later and, most probably in Turkey, in the 18th or early 19th century.
