Asian Intersex Flag - I have made this flag considering all of Asia. I have used a red that is found in a majority of red including Asian flags, such as Cambodia, Malaysia, South Korea, and many others. It is also to represent both the femininity and masculinity found in the intersex spectrum. The yellow is from the original intersex flag and is to also be a gender neutral color to complement red. The orange is to bring the flag together and represents healing.

Now to talk about the taijitu and dragons! Instead of putting the taijitu in a poor stereotyped light, I wanted to show the true meaning of it: Harmony and Balance. I have added this in not as way to promote sinophobia but to instead add onto the original Intersex flag. I replaced the circle with the taijitu to keep the idea of wholeness and completeness while adding the concept of yin and yang, of opposites existing in complete harmony. The dragons are to both complement the taijitu and add more cultural elements into the flag.

Flower hat jelly gender - when one may act or appear as one gender but is another. just like the jelly, they are to be more associated with being odd and embracing unattractive qualities of oneself.

I made this gender specifically because I wanted this gender centered around neurodivergence and how we may be perceived and stereotyped by others in society, especially when we may have a differing view on self expression. and so, this is a label for anyone, both binary and nonbinary identities can be added with this. while this was intended for neurodivergent people, neurotypical people can also use this identity as they see fit :)

Why a Flower Hat Jellyfish?

Elasmobranchology is the study of modern sharks, sawfish, skates, and rays, also known as the subclass Elasmobranchii and class Chondrichthyes.

These cartilaginous fish are characterized by having five to seven pairs of gill clefts opening individually to the exterior, rigid dorsal fins and small placoid scales on the skin. The teeth should be layered and their jaw is never fused with their cranium, though the difference between jaw anatomy vary between species. Elasmobranchs do not have swim bladders and instead rely on large livers rich in oil to maintain buoyancy. Some deep sea sharks are targeted for this liver oil, including the school, gulper and basking sharks. All three have been assessed and are now confirmed to be threatened with extinction due to overfishing.
