Deep Sea Wonders 🌊🦭🐚🪸🪼
The Dumbo Octopus (Grimpoteuthis)
Fun fact: They get their name from the ear-like fins on the top of their heads, which they flap to swim gracefully through the deep water.
2. The Vampire Squid (Vampyroteuthis infernalis)
Fun fact: Despite the scary name, they don't drink blood; they feed on "marine snow," which is just bits of organic matter drifting down from the surface.
3. The Barreleye Fish (Macropinna microstoma)
Fun fact: Their heads are completely transparent and filled with fluid, allowing their glowing green tube-shaped eyes to look straight up through their own skulls.
