Yeah so
Batman: the knight issue #5
Out of all of Bruce's mentors/masters she's the one we see the least of. Most of her scenes are focused on her surroundings or her disguise, and I love that detail a lot
The writer imposter syndrome goes crazy.
Write three words and cry about them for thirty minutes
Sorry for the poor-ish quality, I drew these on white board fox then just bucket tooled them đ
ANYWAYS EVERY GET MARTIANBAT PILLED NOW!!! PLEASEE!!

I love how both @urk-m and I have a vested interest in seeing the Wayne family reunion option win in this poll made by @mr-badjokes
My offer still stands by the way if that option wins I will post fic in 24 hours. It will be fluff and I will not go back on my word (probably).
Trust me guys if you vote the Wayne family reunion and it wins I'll post a fic too in celebration
It was decided that I'm writing something silly and romantic and now I'm genuinely going through it
been stewing on an analytical approach to fiction which I call "is this book afraid of me?" and in order to answer this question you determine how hard the book is trying to make sure you don't come after the writer on twitter

Please keep making art. Please make it for yourself. Please donât let everything become even more of the same flat general appeal nonsense that doesnât seem to have anything to say
@urk-m
The poll is about to end and I'm pretty sure of what option will win...
It's on sight. (â_â )
@joekitsu WE'RE WINNING!!!!
Hello, tumblr user. Before you is a tumblr post asking you to name a female fictional character. You have unlimited time to tag a female character, NOT a male one.
Begin.
Idk how to explain it but if you don't get khoa you don't get bruce either and if you don't get bruce you don't get khoa.
This is Because khoa was one of the first people to ever leave a mark on Bruce's heart, and no matter how much he grew and changed and no matter how many people that heart sheltered and loved. It's still the same heart Khoa touched, and his Mark is still there. The same goes for Khoa. To understand one you have to understand the impact they had on the other, and to understand that impact you have to consider just how much they changed each other's view on the world
Granted there's more to say and definitely better wording to what they have, but this will do for now until it's acceptable to treat friends like lovers and lovers like lasting wounds, and letting those wounds shape you as a person.

So I just finished reading Batman: Sword of Azrael (1992)
Thoughts: The art style is something of an Era, and it is SO good, I personally love it. from the colors to the poses everything is exaggerated in a way that just begs for your attention. The character design is so creative there were no limits holding them back, the inspiration for Azrael's custom does give you a glimpse into just how old Azrael-the mantle- is. With the cool expected 90s machine guns, but still. Lovely, if a little out of the usual the clear clean look I usually prefer (I'm a little boring)
Plot wise: honestly not much to say other than I liked it, There wasn't a complicated intricate plot to follow or implications to figure out, or foreshadowing to look back on. It's simple, to the point and straightforward in its delivery, and by that,I mean literally delivered via dialogue.
The symbolism on the other hand was especially fun, I giggled every time I discovered something.
I find the story in itself pretty interesting and engaging. The religious imagery was something I wished they explored more or rather more deeply because that was really cool to see in action. We had drugged up, beaten Bruce tho! So that was cool too.
Jean Paul Valley was so so lovely I loved that lad a lot lol. Overall pretty good, it's a shame it's short. 7.9/10 I find that it's enjoyable
Here are some of my favorite panels possible spoilers ahead:
The colors are used so freely here the reds are especially prominent
Other than the fact that this panel is so unsettling; Yay to Bruce having a dry af sense of humor, no one is laughing at that joke dude
My son đđđđ and the fuckass demon behind him or whatever
He's such a loser here but he did try his best and I appreciate him sm đЎ
Diva.
Diva down.
My beautiful princess Bruce Wayne.
Sword of Azrael was a beautiful experience and an excellent comic, the characterization is great and it stayed interesting throughout the four issues.
The kitchen in the Kent farmhouse was steeped in the aromatic scent of thyme and rosemary, their earthy fragrances filling the small kitchen. It was a scent that spoke of home, a testament, really, to Martha Kentâs belief that a house wasnât truly a home without something delicious being prepared; whether that was one of her award-winning pies, or simply a warm, savoury meal lovingly put together with her boys in mind, who worked so hard to take care of the farm.
As a large pot simmered on the stove, Clark peered inside, eyebrows pinching as he took in the sight. The broth was a rich, golden colour, bright herbs bobbing on the surface. He couldnât resist the urge to sneak a little taste, just to see how it was coming along. With one finger, he reached forward to dip into the broth, only for a sharp swat to connect with the back of his hand. It wasnât enough to hurt him, of course, but the shock of it made him jump back nonetheless.
âClark Joseph Kent,â Martha said, her voice firm but laced with the exasperated affection she reserved solely for her only son. She pointed her finger towards him, waggling it slightly. âI know I raised you better than that. If you want a taste, youâll get a spoon.âÂ
Clark flushed with embarrassment, giving her an apologetic smile. âSorry, Ma,â He mumbled, attention being drawn to the sharp sound of vegetables being chopped by her skilled hands. âIâm just⌠I just want to be perfect.â He confessed, flipping open his small notebook and glancing over the steps he had written so far. âNext is⌠carrots?â He asked, voice a little uncertain as he watched her hands move with practiced efficiency. He could have chopped every vegetable in the kitchen in the blink of an eye to save her the time and effort, but this was her domain, and he knew better than to try to take over her kitchen.Â
She turned, wiping her hands on her apron as she gave him a warm smile, eyes crinkling at the corners. âYouâre a sweet boy, Clark, you always have been.â She said, her voice soft. âI always say, the way to a manâs heart is through his stomach.â She mused, humming a soft tune as she swept the carrots into a bowl. âAnd, well, Bruce might have Alfred to do all his cookinâ for him, but thatâs no substitute for a meal made from the heart.âÂ
Clark couldnât help the blush that crept up his neck as he wrote down how many she had chopped. He hoped, more than anything, that she would be right about this; that Bruce would see this gesture as something sweet, that it was done only with him in mind. After all, he remembered all too well what it was like to catch a nasty cold when he was young and his powers hadnât manifested. Each time without fail, Ma would appear at his bedside with a steaming bowl of her special chicken soup and would simply stay until he was finished eating, one hand stroking through his hair. It was a small gesture, but it was one that made him feel infinitely better.Â
Bruce deserved that. He deserved to have someone see him when he was vulnerable, who was willing to be with him during that time. He deserved to experience what itâs like, to have every spoonful remind him that he is loved, not for his purpose, but for being himself.Â
Adjusting his notebook in his grasp, Clark leaned forward again, standing slightly taller as he watched Ma begin peeling potatoes. This was an important task, one that he was determined to master, for Bruce.
And as his mother patiently explained the difference between a rolling boil and a gentle simmer, Clark couldnât help but extend his hearing across the country, past the rustling cornfields and sleepy towns, until it locked on to the stuffy, congested sound of his beloved bat.Â
