Im trying to raise money for a local Warren family who had to endure several days of harassment that culminated in their house being shot up. While the culprit has been caught, this family continues to have to pick up the pieces, several months later, as they just learned their insurance company is willing to cover only a fraction of the damages. They need to replace a front window, window dressings and furniture. They have lost their peace of mind and have to look at a daily reminder of that hate crime that took place. They have a child who’s afraid to even sit in their own living area. While we cannot buy back their peace of mind and security, I’m hoping we can show them a better side to our community.
