Asra: His excited mood is infectious and you’re both on the edge of your seats waiting for it to start. Manages to stay quiet during but once the credits start he starts talking and asks what you thought of it.

Nadia: You both get there early enough to get good seats but not so early you have to wait a long time. She’ll wait until you’re both in the car to start talking about it to avoid spoiling it for anyone.

Julian: The two of you definitely sneak in your own snacks and try to sit at the back to avoid getting caught. Won’t talk a lot but gives the occasional commentary to see if he can get a laugh out of you

Muriel: It’s a little hard to tell if he actually wants to go (he does), wants to sit in a corner to avoid people. If you ask if he liked it he’ll give a short comment that he did and listens to you talk about it.

Portia: Like asra her excitement is contagious but her’s is more quiet and contained. She’ll make small comments on the way out and delve into excited animated discussion on the way home.

1) Zuko wasn’t the worst character in the Fire Nation. From really early on it was shown that, compared to Zhao, Azula, and other Fire Nation leaders, Zuko was consistently more noble. He tried to be a good person and do the right thing, even when doing so led to him suffering for his actions. 

2) Zuko suffered for his mistakes. He suffered when he turned away from Iroh, he suffered when he betrayed Iroh, and he suffered even after his face turn. There were consequences for his mistakes; he didn’t get off scot free because his childhood was hard. He was still held accountable by the narrative and made to take responsibility for the wrongs he did. 

3) Zuko made tangible amends to the people he hurt. He rescued Hakoda, helped Katara get closure, and became Aang’s firebending master. He put in work to make up for the things he did and rebuild bridges with his new allies.
