I can’t stop thinking about this moment with Zoro and his failed attempt to go with Luffy, and how the decision to stay behind will affect him later.
While Sanji tells Luffy that they can’t wait any longer because of Nami’s condition, Zoro goes straight to find out what Luffy wants to do (regardless of the situation).
Luffy decides to take Nami to the doctor himself, but he doesn’t ask anyone else to come with him. Sanji goes ahead of Zoro, and as we’ll see later, this will affect Zoro more than he expected.
Zoro is not okay with the situation (neither of them are), and he verbalizes his regret, saying that he should have gone instead of Sanji. Even against what had already been agreed, he wants them to go up anyway but he only receives a harsh response from a very stressed Usopp :(
Zoro goes to Dalton, who asks him about Nami. Zoro tells him what happened, which only frustrates him more when Dalton asks why they didn’t wait until morning. A wait that Zoro is also finding unbearable.
Despite how upset Zoro is, he remains proud of his captain.
Meanwhile, Luffy:
He looks so annoyed asking for explanations in this scene lmao poor Zoro, he can’t be without his captain for even a single night!
