This was originally meant for last year (2025), but because I got burnt out and busy, it took me a while to finish this back in January of this year. Still, I’m very happy I finished this because this is the 3rd redraw I’ve done of the first art trade I did with Cosmic back in our DeviantArt days. So this is a very special piece to me. To Cosmic, thank you for being my friend for these 9 years and I look forward to many more years together as friends!

If you’ve noticed, I did cleaned sketches for Art Fight since doing line art would’ve taken longer. I had fun with Art Fight, but I also burned myself out from it. I’m trying to get back into drawing slowly (such as working on OC designs), so hopefully you’ll see more art from me again.

New OC reference!
This is my character for a text RP I’ve been part of, Della Nam. She’s the Head of Security for XCorp, an organization that studies Anomalies and protects humanity. Della is a stern woman and experienced combatant who takes her duties seriously. She can be rather hot headed at times, but cares deeply about the people in her department. Though if any of her personnel act out of line, Della’s willing to give them a beating.
You can’t see it under her suit, but Della’s actually muscular. I went out of my comfort zone to learn how to draw muscles and had to redraw Della’s body plenty of times. It was a learning experience that I’m happy with.

So I had been watching a Twitch streamer (shout out to TryTryAgain) and she was discussing Miku’s many designs with her chat. That’s when I realized that I had never drawn our beloved Vocaloid singer before. So, here she is!
I went with her V4 design because I wanted to do a simple bust as an example for both commissions and the art raffle I’m holding on Instagram rn. She has so many great designs and I’m hoping to draw more of them in the future!

Yes, I have a Genshin Impact OC. Her name is Yuna Nagisa (or Nagisa Yuna in western order). She’s a whalesinger from Watatsumi Island and is a member of the Yuna Clan. (The clan mentioned in some of Inazuma’s lore books with the twins who fought against the Raiden Shogun.) Nagisa is also a captain for the Watatsumi Army and just wants to be done with war.
Her Vision is Cyro, her weapon is a polearm / nagitana, and her Constellation is Delphinus (Dolphin).
Here’s a comparison of my persona from 7 years ago to now. I’m really glad to see that my anatomy has improved since then.
I think this comparison really illustrates some small changes between middle school me and current me (a college student). I used to have bangs, now that I don’t, and I’m older (and taller) now too. The main outfit has mainly stayed the same along with the glasses. I had socks for the old art, but decided to go with sneakers for the current design.
Still, it’s really nice to see the improvement in my art skills over the past 7 years.
Here’s another character reference, this time of my main persona. I mainly did this because I wanted to redraw her old references from 2017-2019 and I’m glad to see the improvement! (I also needed practice drawing more full bodies.)
I guess the only changes I’ve made to her design since then have been her bangs (which I grew out during lockdown back in 2020) and her sneakers (based on an actual pair I have). Funny thing, I kept changing her shoes for every reference I drew before, but I think this time I’ll keep these sneakers as part of her design.
This took me a lot longer then I expected, but I’m finally done! I needed a chibi drawing for commission examples, but I think I underestimated the amount of details this would have.
Anyway, this is Sakura Hayami, an OC I made during an artist meet-up at my university. She lives near an ancient cherry blossom tree and looks for the positives in everything.
I’m still alive and drawing, but college has been keeping me busy. I’m still hoping to share a few more references and pieces here.

She’s an alien who came to Earth looking for the Star Stones, but is stuck in the form of a wolf pup because she used up most of her magic to get here. Pretty fox lady UwU
My part for a Genshin Impact x Sanrio Collab I participated in on Instagram. I drew Amber with Ruby, a Jewelpet (Sanrio franchise), along with Baron Bunny too. I had a lot of fun working on this and I think it’s one of my most detailed pieces yet.
Because Jewelpets are training to become magicians, I decided to give Amber a magician like outfit too. I just had to add Baron Bunny too because rabbits.
