It's not just that rigged games are hot because they act as kind of a concealed control mechanism. Your subject may think it's fair, or may know it's not, but either way it's a violation of politesse to point it out. To control the system is a very erotic kind of advantage. I'm dissatisfied with 'Social Strategy' as a vague term because the real meat of this is social deception, and its counterpart social deduction. It is necessary to me that this category cares about lying. It does feel important to include social strategy in regards to vote-outs and playing around other people rather than direct knockout via non-social skills, though. The social strategy involved in building an alliance is not the same as the deception involved in, say, a mafia game. So I still have work to do there.

Oh my god, wait,, are the episode really That Long??? Woah,, I mean. Okay, I say that as if I don't watch BOTC streams that border on three-ish hours, but I always assumed those shows were like,,, half hour to fourty-five minutes. Fascinating

The first episode was at least! Half of the runtime was like, introduction packages and seeing the villa and then coupling up. Which is like... well I get why that's necessary but the back to back intro videos really dragged on the start of the episode hahah. I won't pretend to know how the US does their season but in the UK they were doing 3 episodes a week so I imagine they can't be any longer than an hour... Right?
I feel you on the stream effect too, like a botc stream at 3 hours will fly by but a 3 hour episode of even one of my favourite shows (I say favourite. I have really mixed feelings about it which makes it more interesting to me than any show that's catagorically good without caveats) had me skipping through some of the more scenic sections ^-^;
#MyStreamer who isn't my steamer I just watch him on patreon but he covers strategy, social, and brain games (survivor, the genius, devils plan, big brother, the traitors) has just released a love island reaction where he is just mortified and miserable the entire time but it has literally 1000% the number of likes and comments as his usual output and this itself is sort of a humiliation ritual. so that's fun for me
guy is feeling so much embarrassment because he rewound to hear what someone said and it was just a sex comment
okay now we're past the initial barrage of slow shots of bodies he's commenting on body language and whether it's strategically better to choose a couple or not and making big brother analogies. he does keep checking the runtime but it is an 1:45:00 episode
