3rd Yr, 2nd Sem, 9th Series

Because studying IT is not gonna get easier with my lack of knowledge.

Oh and I haven’t caught up with Series 9 yet. Watched the two parter with Davros and so far it’s great. It’s an odd opener and has got some flaws (particularly in the not-convincing-at-all-deaths-of-Clara-and-Missy-and-the-Doctor-fearing-his-death, HOWEVER as far as I know, based on the Witch’s Familiar, the Magician’s Apprentice’s portrayal of the Doctor knowing his ‘death’ yet again and with the completely unconvincing death of Clara and Missy are deliberately written as foreplay by Moffat.. that he knows that we know that we’re seemingly deeming the debut episode’s plot as ‘predictable’ or ‘recycled’, but it still feels ‘fresh’ in a way in this series, with the Doctor’s craziness being a whole new level here and the pace being relentless and Missy and Clara having appropriate roles here and with Davros and the Daleks being shown here in a new light.. and the second episode does make up for it [thankfully after the opening, since if they kept the oddity of Clara being tied up above and Missy telling the Doctor’s current status with the Daleks in an awkward manner], although I wished that Moffat really made them more menacing plotwise from the start and not just with loose references of them being truly ‘menacing’ enemies and stuff). Those criticizing the debut episode are in some ways right, but this has been labeled already as a two parter beforehand, so it’s kinda unfair to make a review of it as truly standalone-wise. Together, the two episodes are a nice, crazy, and enjoyable debut of Twelve, with the next episodes hopefully becoming more promising.

Wow. It's been years since I used this tumblr account.

It used to be that I stayed more on Tumblr than on any other site. Now it's all facebook, and it's like I practically left this site for good. I guess it's time to return and see what's changed lol and so far there isn't much but I missed a lot and stuff so...

Anyways, yes, I've finished watching DW Series 8 EXCEPT for the Christmas Special which I have a copy of that's left in the cold. Haven't fully catched up to Person of Interest Season 4 yet, waiting for Agents of Shield to continue, and still haven't watched Sleepy Hollow Season 2, The Musketeers Season 2, and all of the other series that are still in my computer along with many films that I got like months ago.

College life, now that I'm on second year, has really changed a lot of things for me. Back then I was quite scared to step on this new frontier of education, but now that I'm in it, I got more comfortable - but now it's back to that scary moment, considering my grades are on the line - because I'm worried I'm not going to be unable to maintain my scholarship especially considering my output lately has not been up to par; I've become lazier and less inspired, despite the fact that I do have a new inspiration (lol), and I'm worried that I'd fail if I continue. So I don't know...

I don't know what more to say but for now this is all I can say: college is far from easy, and adulthood isn't gonna get any better.

Wow. It's been quite a while since I bothered using Tumblr. I've rarely been opening my account and I've not posted yet until now.

I guess I should start by saying that I'm in first year college right now, in my first sem in Information Technology. I've been too busy lately, mostly because of studies and watching, among other shows, Doctor Who XD

Yeah, I know. Last time I posted I've said that I've finished Series 5-7 and I've decided to watch Eccleston and Tennant as well. Well, now I'm at Series 4, and I'm about to watch "Midnight" soon. And I have to admit, every season has been superbly epic: mostly because Tennant, Agyeman, and Tate do so great in acting their characters. Oh, I shouldn't forget about Billie Piper as Rose either! :)) I really like her chemistry with Nine and Ten. It was so sad to see her go though. But then she popped up again in Series 4! I don't know what her role would be exactly in this series (I've only seen vague glimpses of each episode, so I don't want to spoil myself too much), but I'm sure it'll be epic.

So I'm basically speechless again about what to say about DW: I'd like to say amazing and some other words and stuff, but... I guess I'm going to say that I'm still impatiently waiting for the, um, 50th Anniversary and Christmas Special. They could have at least posted the trailer already! Come on, Moffat, not that I hate you, but people have already given descriptions of the trailer, so there's not much use in hiding it!!
