Sam and Dean are solving a case in Boston and when they arrive on a particularly grizzly crime scene, they're surprised to find another FBI agent already there. When she introduces herself as Special Agent Olivia Dunham and is cagey about giving them any information because the Fringe team is only like three people and these guys clearly aren't cleared to know the truth, Dean calls Kevin and has him pull her file. That's when they learn that Olivia was subject to childhood experiements and subsequently given superpowers that she hates and so naturally Sam instantly and immediately falls in love whereas Dean goes on a warpath against Walter. Peter earns the brothers' respect after he takes a few hits for them and they learn he's also a hustler and faked his way to an MIT degree. Sam and Astrid become besties once she looks over his shoulder and immediately solves the crossword word he was stuck on. Lincoln is there.

Sam and Dean are solving a case in Boston when they trace a series of deaths back to a witch who lives in an absolutely massive mansion in Brookline. It turns out that she was using magic to try to take out her competitors so she could force a hostile takeover of their companies, causing several hundred employees to unfairly lose their jobs in the process. Naturally, the next course of action is to break into her house and destroy the source of the magic, so imagine their surprise when they break into said house and are met with another team who are also breaking into. After an initial standoff in which the brothers pull guns only to get immediately disarmed by the stocky short guy, it turns out that this woman is not only a witch but she is also, clearly, eliminating the competitions and trying to force a monopoly, which this other group won't stand for. So while the brothers are busy dismantling the witch's alter and destroying her magic book, the tall guy who won't stop rizzing himself up is hacking into her computer and stealing her money, the woman in all black and a harness is breaking into the witch's safe while openly flirting with the hacker, and the stocky short guy is keeping watch while telling the other two to shut up. After what everyone agrees is a very successful takedown, the brothers and the trio part ways and also agree to never bring this up ever again.
