So, I’m finally doing it. I’m taking the plunge, and starting a long-running Undertale comic that’s been on my heart for a while now. This comic started as a fanfiction, which is currently partly written and partly just notes on key scenes. I originally planned to finish the fanfic first, and then start the comic, but there are so many scenes I’m just dying to draw… scenes that won’t happen for SO MANY CHAPTERS… GUAAAAH… On the upside, the first page of the comic is complete. :D

A few quick notes and warnings: 1. Some details may seem like they’re not quite true to the game. For example, Frisk’s stats are obviously off, and they’re carrying the Worn Dagger instead of the Real Knife. There is a good in-story reason for this, and all will become clear in due time. 2. This comic will take your feelings, step on them, pump them full of bullets, and set them on fire. While I plan to keep the blood and gore to a reasonable minimum, the fact remains that Flowerfell was kind to its characters compared to what I have in store. So if you plan to get attached to this comic, be prepared for:

- Numerous character deaths (whether any of them will be permanent, I’m not saying). - Mentions and depictions of suicide. - Child abuse (I mean obviously, considering what happens in the game). - Depictions of torture. - Occasional swearing. - Non-explicit discussions of sex. - Comical misconceptions regarding sex. - Moments of cuteness that make all of the above seem even worse.

3. Having seen what tends to happen to the comments sections of multi-part Undertale comics, I request in advance that you do not pressure me to get each chapter out faster. In return, to make the wait easier, I have provided you with a progress bar so you can see at a glance how close the next page is to being done. That page will serve as both a table of contents, and an indication of how soon you can expect the next chapter. I hope that helps!

The biggest dorks of them all. When I started with the idea of the pets, Pupyrus was the first one to be born. Since the beginning he was made to be uf!Sans’s pet, and since I love the headcanon of uf!Papyrus being a cat lover (Doomfanger is the best this fandom have done(?)) Kitty was born in no time.
